What'Sub is a 4-player co-op submarine extraction game where you pilot a rust-bucket submarine into the depths of the Bermuda Triangle to recover treasure from the ocean’s seafloor. Gear up, descent, risk everything to bring your haul back to the surface, then dive again to ever deeper levels.

About
Navigate caverns, wrecks, and treacherous terrain. Visibility is limited. Hazards appear late. The deeper you go, the more long-lost treasure waits and the harder it gets to leave.
Make it back to the surface with your haul and keep everything: loot, upgrades, progress. Drown down there and lose everything you brought in. Every dive is a negotiation between what you stand to gain and what you're willing to gamble.
The sub breaks down constantly, at the worst possible moment, for the least forgivable reason. Hull breaches, a stalled engine; the list of things that can go wrong is longer than the list of things working correctly. Patch it, smack it, restart it, and keep moving. It's not much, but it's all you've got.
Procedurally generated levels mean no two dives are the same. There's always something new to discover and always a reason to go back down.
The Well has its own residents. Meet the characters that call the deep home, buy cosmetics, and pry secrets about the Well out of the ones willing to talk.
Online co-op for up to four players
Extraction mechanics with full loot loss on death
Interdependent submarine systems and crew roles
Characters, cosmetics, and a customizable submarine
Procedurally generated ocean levels

Indie Sea of Thieves, in a sub No, its not ready right now and it borders on a vertical slice for how basic it is, yet it still has 'The Spark'. If this is able to continue development it'll be brilliant game so I advise people buy this to support it
game could be great but it is plagued by issues making it unplayable --- this review used to say "this has to be programmed by an ai"
Its super fun game, love the art style! defo gonna get a few mates together for a Friday night What'Sub night with some Grog!!
Played What Sub for about 3 hours with a friend and had a surprisingly good time. The atmosphere is great, the concept feels fresh, and you can tell the developers have a strong idea here. That said, the game still needs some polishing. There are bugs, some mechanics feel unfinished, and content is a bit limited right now. But even in its current state, the core gameplay loop is entertaining enough to keep you playing “just one more round.” If the developers continue updating and improving the game, this could become something really special. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.
Since the update, it’s been a good game. You can really tell that the game is still in its early stages, but the diving and looting mechanics are well done. I bet that with upcoming updates, it could turn into a solid game. I don't regret the purchase and look forward to the game's future. Updates are currently rolling out quite rapidly. Kudos to the developers!
Controlling the submarine feels amazing. Character and their customizations are cute. Looking forward to seeing what the future of this game holds!
this game is too unfinished, not ready for sale
What'SUB 8) this actually is very nice and fun other then a few game breaking bugs... content? well this is VERY early access... almost alpha/beta feels myself and thy duo did a nice send, as much as we could... survive, collect, buy, and then how deep? again very early access, few things incoming to drop so kinda early to say; (I dont plan to spoil much of what there is anyways so) there is potential, I DID enjoy my time playing the game; looting is great, the game reminds me of SOTs with the repairing and ship/sub being home.. but it needs more content, upgrades, QOL, not to mention some patches for those bugs xD I will come back when content drops and this game releases, witha full party it would be somewhat smoother or just more chaotic xD I'm blessed to have a great pilot as I am a loot goblin and shooter :P still would tell y'all to grab a friend and try it out :D again; I did enjoy it but yeah hopefully they cook up more well they updated it and damn 8) they're cooking, more incoming too, welll sheesh
It's a blast, very promising. It doesn't have a ton right now, but keep in mind it JUST released for EARLY ACCESS. I think this will become one of my favorite games
drowned nearly twice because of damn puffer fish love it
