About
You are the Nomad — an elder vampire awakening from a century-long slumber, new to the modern nights. Trapped in your Blood is a stranger’s voice. This entity, a vampire detective known as Fabien, will be your guide to 21st-century Seattle. You will explore the city through his eyes as well as those of the Nomad, as you revisit a cold case from a hundred years ago that is threatening undead and mortal society alike.
Hunt your way through a modern-night Seattle on the brink of an open supernatural war in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, where visceral vampire action meets a neo-noir murder mystery. Navigate the vampire Court of Seattle and its dark underbelly in this action RPG, realized by the BAFTA award-winning studio The Chinese Room.

Blood sustains you and empowers your vampiric Disciplines. You’ll stalk and feed on the city’s population at night. Use your supernatural powers or raw persuasion on unsuspecting mortals to lure them into dark alleys and slake your Hunger. However, be cautious about breaking the Masquerade: revealing your true nature risks reprisals, starting with law enforcement and escalating from there. Remember, you are not the only creature that goes bump in the night.
Experience immersive, visceral combat that rewards various playstyles and approaches based on your choice of vampire clan. Will you engage in close combat with supernatural strength, attack from a distance with blood sorcery, or silently thin the herd like the apex predator you are? Your clan choice will support these playstyles and more.

Enter the World of Darkness and rise through vampire society or rail against it. Experience Seattle - a city full of alluring, dangerous characters and factions, not to mention the mortals at stake in the clash of powers beyond their knowing. In this sequel to the cult classic, your choices, plots, and schemes will determine the balance of power and what becomes of the city and its people.

I would call this a narrative action game not really an RPG similiar to Assassins Creed series. Problem is the narrative isn't interesting for me, the story is obviously written by female writers to appeal to feminine sensibilities such as the usual all power players in the game are women, men are subservient, weak , gay or villains. It's a tragic trope nowadays. Combat isn't great either , enemies are hit sponges. Can't recommend this to anyone.
I... like this game. It's not really a Bloodlines game imo. I think it doesn't scratch the same itches that the first Bloodlines did. I think the original Bloodlines game really gave you a lot of choices as well as sinking you into the World of Darkness. My biggest gripe though. Is a simple one to fix. I am femme presenting, but I identify as non binary. And a problem I see with a lot of games/shows/etc is that when you want something to be "gender neutral," it really just means "masculine." There isn't a single dress or skirt or girlie thing I can wear in this game. I shouldn't have to rely on mods to give my character an outfit that I feel comfortable in. I just want to wear a skirt or a dress. It's why I loved Bloodlines (and the only way I would EVER play a Tremere); you had cutesy little outfits. Now that we've come a long way in game development, we can customize our characters to a lot fuller extent. I've played 6 hours of this, but I like RPGs because of the diversity in character customization. You have only masculine choices in this one, and it's disappointing.
Как отдельная игра , куча идиотизма ,нет списка заданий , всунута идиотская система резонанса и т.д. А по сравнению с первой частью вообще говно полное.
This game had such great potential, I hope in 10 years there will be mods that fill the game up with colorful NPCs and intriguing plotlines. Currently it feels very empty and the gameplay is very repetitive, the quests, the combats, the dialogues and NPC interactions are limited and almost make no difference. Another really pretty walking simulator for the most part.
This is not the worst game in the world: it is mediocre in an all-too-familiar fashion. Namely, it suffers from 'open-world fever'. Let me explain: despite a number of loose ends, the main plot is great--complex without being byzantine, and in line with the setting without feeling like a guided tour. It even offers some interesting and unusual choices (i.e. Agent Baker). Unfortunately only the dialogues (rather than the storyline) branch out according to those decisions, which accordingly feel rather ornamental. The main missions are actually quite good (i.e. The Underground), with clever concepts, carefully crafted maps and decent environmental storytelling (the few attempts at puzzles are rather lacklustre.) Unfortunately all that is wrapped in an open-world that is bland, empty and--I'd argue--entirely unnecessary. Except for half a dozen bare-bones fetch quests and a couple of brainless collectathon, there is nothing. A few clichéd NPCs with little character and no import in the plot whatsoever. A few lifeless locations where nothing ever happens and no NPC can be interacted with. The rest is a dozen of city blocks which all look the same, with no traffic and aimless bystanders. There is so little love poured in this open world, and it has so little to do with the rest of the game, that either the devs built it as a playground for their (admittedly excellent) traversal mechanics, or because they needed it for continuity with the first Bloodlines. That's a shame, because had they kept to their main story, and spent their time instead polishing the rather rough gameplay and fleshing out their characters, this could have been a good game. As it stands the combat is repetitive and very ill balanced (I have no problem taking out a Camarilla primogene but I struggle against any thin-blood Anarch with a gun). The stealth is alright but rather one-dimensional, though the enemy AI is actually pretty alright. The dialogues are very uneven, some of them embarrassingly bad (i.e. no tormented artist made me cringe as hard as Ysabella since Stefano Valentini), while some characters (typically locked behind doors except in cutscenes) are actually fairly good. There are quite a few bugs, and I got stuck after clipping into a shelf *in the game's first corridor!* It also run like sh*t, with the sound regularly stuttering, the dynamic lighting going wild and the frame-rate dropping to single digits despite my very decent rig. I really wanted to like this game. In fact, I really wanted all the bad reviews to be wrong, to have been spewed by extremely-online teens with too much time on their hands and too little patience. I am sorry to report: the bad reviews are right. This at first infuriated me, but we shouldn't be too harsh on that game: it is precisely because some aspects shine quite bright, that the rest appear so dismal. As it stands this is not good, and will only interest V:TM completionists, or dreamers interested in what could have been. I've heard it said that this a decent game, if a bad sequel to Bloodlines 1. I have not played Bloodlines 1, but I can tell you this is not a good game, even on its own merit. I paid 30 bucks for it on sale, and I wouldn't pay a cent more if I were you.
Не так плоха как пишут фанбои первой части, просто другая
Most of game is great, but a open world game with a checkpoint save system is a horrible idea in my opinion.
I finished the main story once, and honestly, I'm completely fed up with the absurd amount of bugs. While I didn't get any hard crashes or freezes, I got stuck in the textures literally hundreds of times. To top it off, the ending was a massive disappointment — it felt incredibly rushed and lazy. The game is definitely not worth full price. Only grab it if it's on a major sale.
this game has its issues but what game doesnt. i would wait for it to go on sale and go into it without thinking its connected to the first game. if you do that it is very enjoyable. i loved the game. its a slow start but really starts picking up after like 20 or so minutes. i had an amazing time playing this game and its sad to see it rated so badly as i think its deserves better.
While yes, this is a good game, it does have its issues! But, overall, I had a lot of fun with it. The combat was fun, as well as traveling around the city as a vampire felt rewarding... when my computer could handle it. I have a gaming laptop and i am able to run larger games such as Baldurs Gate 3 relatively well, but this game CHUGGED. I recommend getting it on a ps5 or something similar rather than on steam, since the ps5 can probably handle it better. That being said, it was still a lot of fun, even if the lag did make it challenging at points. I also enjoyed the characters, even if some of them felt very 2d personality wise, and side quests felt lacking at times (they're mainly all fetch quests) so the game would benefit from more side quests that actually explore the characters. Maybe one trying to find out more about someone rather than running around the city for collectables. The romance could be expanded as well, maybe having more scenes? Rendered ones? It wouldn't have to be sexual in nature, but maybe something cute and soft. One thing i did not like, is the reusing of assets between Fabien and Phyre's playthroughs. While the dream sequences set in 2024 make sense that they're the same, it doesn't make sense to just add a filter to the 1920's dreams to make it appear different. It would also be nice to go to different places, rather than visiting the same ones you just did as Phyre. I still did enjoy most of them, however. I would've honestly liked more. Another con I personally have is the outfits. Im not the biggest fan of most of them, mainly about how they look. It could just be me. I also would've liked to be able to clean up the haven/change havens, as the game says its temporary. I would've also enjoyed a new game plus, especially since i had a lot of ability points by the time I had beaten the game, plus it feels nice to start "stronger" in a new save. That may just be me, though. One last con i personally have, is the fact NPC dialog gets repetitive for how often you hear it. I would've liked to hear more lines from pedestrians, or from Fabien's informants, which you have to talk to multiple times. All that being said, I did enjoy the game, and I plan on playing more as well as playing the DLCs. If you like vampires, like a bit of bioshock's combat system, and kind of a morality system, you'll like this game, even with its flaws.
