Finally reviewing this on the 10th anniversary. VA-11 HALL-A is my favourite video game of all time. The story reached me when I was in my early 20s, when I needed it. Jill is 27 during the story, and I told myself I needed to make a lot of changes in my life to get to where I wanted to be once I reached that age. VA-11 HALL-A taught me the importance of facing my problems, no matter how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up they were, and reminded me I couldn't run forever. Time is short, make amends where you can, accept your horrible mistakes and process them before they return to haunt you in unexpected ways. I replayed VA-11 HALL-A every year until I finally turned 28. By then I was in a much happier place and was able to say goodbye to our beloved bartender. Thank you Sukeban. And thanks Miss Stingray. I'm sure I'm not the only one who was touched by this incredible experience. All that's left now is to mix drinks and change lives.

A pretty chill VN that you shouldn't be playing while the sun is still out. Every play session of mine was late at night and it felt like the optimal way to enjoy the game, as well as a great wind-down before bed.

不知道通关多少遍了，隔一段时间就得拿出来溜一遍。面对一个操蛋的生活，面对一个操蛋的处境啊，我作为一个主角，我还能做什么呢？我只能调酒，做我该做的事情，然后活着就这么简单。我对这个游戏的态度也一样，我不在乎这游戏苛刻的金币需求设计甚至得逼着我修改存档，更改金币，才能让我正常的把剧情推行下去，也不咋在乎我很喜欢的那些角色的后续结局是什么（好吧还是很在乎），但也没什么办法，生活还是要继续的，他们也有他们的路要走。有时候在想这个游戏如果出一个无尽模式该多好，而且以前的角色时时都在更新他们的生活，没事儿来点酒，一起快乐快乐，忘掉外面被欺压的生活。随便吧，但我爱这个游戏。
