UNDERDOGS

Easily my favourite VR game (I've tried, enjoyed and disliked a lot of them at this point). Never thought a VR game would be in my top 5 of all time list but here we are, this game definitely went under my radar of VR titles but I'm glad I found it. -Game has awesome style, not my typical music style but fits the atmosphere and world to a tee and really makes you want to punch something -Challenging but rewarding Roguelike story progression forces you to play with different builds and makes you work with what you've got. -Everything is momentum based and damage scales with it -More than one way to scrap a dog: lots of variety in weapons and upgrades that lets basic and niche builds shine and adds to variety and replayability especially when playing the story mode (fav so far is using the nail gun to nail bots to the floor or to other parts of themselves, than using a grabbing hand to rip them apart). -Boss fights feel awesome. the first time you face one of the bosses feels like a real step up from usual horde of enemy types -Standing in your gorilla mech is incredibly immersive from a visual standpoint, combining that with the visceral sounds of impacts, saws and blades cutting through components and the arenas becoming littered with chunks of metal and parts of bots results in a 1 off VR experience/sensation in my opinion. -A satisfying movement system having you drag and slide the mech around the arena with your arms that adds locomotion as a way of dodging attacks and also slamming into your targets. -hugely under rated game, I'm yet to have naturally ran into any content to do with this game, if it wasn't for the steam sale suggestions id still be missing out on this gem of an experience that's like none other Played on Quest 3 using Virtual Desktop
