Under The Waves

Under The Waves is honestly one of those games that I started without expecting too much and ended up really enjoying. You play as Stan, a professional diver working alone deep underwater in the North Sea. He is trying to deal with a very difficult moment from his past and basically uses the isolation of his job to escape from everything. I don't want to say too much because the story is definitely something you should experience yourself. The atmosphere is easily my favorite part of the game. Being completely alone underwater, exploring abandoned places and hearing the sounds of the ocean around you just feels amazing. Sometimes it's peaceful and relaxing and other times it can feel really uncomfortable, especially when you're very deep and surrounded by nothing but darkness. I also really enjoyed the diving and exploration. Using the small submarine to travel around the map, leaving it to explore different locations and searching for resources was actually very satisfying for me. The underwater world feels vast and I often found myself exploring places even when I didn't really need to. The story is slow, but personally I didn't mind it at all. This is definitely not a game for someone looking for constant action. It's more about the atmosphere, isolation and understanding what Stan is going through. Some moments genuinely made me stop and think about the story. The graphics and soundtrack are also beautiful and fit the game perfectly. There were many moments where I just looked around at the ocean because the game can honestly look amazing. Of course, there are some small bugs and the movement can feel a little weird sometimes, but nothing that ruined my experience. Overall, Under The Waves was a really beautiful and emotional experience. As someone who enjoys story games and also really likes diving, this game was basically perfect for me Definitely worth playing if you enjoy slow, atmospheric and emotional games. 9/10 from me.

Przepiękny podwodny krajobraz,historia,mnóstwo drobnych znajdziek,miła eksploracja zarówno statkiem jak i w płetwach,pół otwarta mapa mamy też pare misji pobocznych,i całkiem klimatyczne lokum czy potrzeba więcej żeby sie dobrze bawić przez te kilkanaście godzin.

玩到第二章结尾，存在无法解决的闪退问题，按网上说的切换为“窗口化”并降低画质，多次尝试仍然闪退。

Wow what an incredible game!!! It was truly a beautiful story but also heartbreaking but i think that was the purpose to see the good and the bad and to push on regardless what life throws at us. what i liked: - Visually stunning (Ultra graphics) - Lots of interactables - Puzzles - funny face making interactable (different than the other interactables) - Sealife photography - The Story/Plot - Open world exploration - Driving the Moon (Submarine) - All types of sea creatures - Beautiful nature sounds (whale singing,etc) I could go on, on how beautiful and incredible this game is and what i like about it. As much as theres lots to love about it there are a few things i didnt like. What i didnt like: - A few visual bugs - driving submarine physics can be difficult - Some puzzles aren't clear on what to do (had to look it up) - custom marker was way off not accurate at all - Conversations with Emma were a bit random (different conversation topics would just happen even if Stan was talking about something completely different, it would mess with the vibe and connection the player is trying to have with the character.).

Hangulatos, a látvány rendben van, a sztori nem rossz. Attól függetlenül, hogy a történet a lényeg, a játékmenet (főleg a gyűjtögetés) lehetett volna kicsit pörgősebb. Időnként volt ilyen, hogy X helyre küld a játék (ami zsákutca), mellette egyértelműen van valami, amit megnézel, mert nem akarsz lemaradni, hátha valami plusz dolog van ott, majd kiderül, hogy a sztori is arra visz majd tovább... a játék persze ilyenkor azonnal ment, így elveszik egy párbeszéd, ami sokat nem tesz hozzá, de marad benned egy hiányérzet, hogy pont emiatt maradtál le róla. A térkép többnyire pontosan mutatja hol van a feladat, talán egy rész volt, ahol annyira nem volt egyértelmű mit kell csinálni. A fejlesztéseket leszámítva a craftolást a legtöbbször feleslegesnek éreztem, bőségesen van mindenből, nem igazán volt szükség plusz municióra. Egy bugba futottam bele, amikor felszedtem egy ládát, de a térkép továbbra is mutatta, hogy nincs meg. A misztikus háttér szálból derülhetett volna ki egy kicsit talán több minden, az még úgy hiányzott nekem belőle.

A minha sorte foi que eu peguei essa bomba numa promoção de 90%. Tirando alguns probleminhas (como a falta de lip sync nos diálogos) o jogo não é ruim, eu estava me divertindo. O problema é que ele crashou meu pc duas vezes. Na segunda, o "save" foi corrompido e agora eu teria que começar tudo de novo. Vou encostar essa porcaria aqui e tentar jogar daqui a um ano ou coisa que o valha. Li relatos de outras pessoas tendo crash, perdendo savegames, então fica aí o alerta.
