Always Online DRM for a SNES game, PSX game and 2 Wii games. Yikes.
MM8 hate is so forced
Spyware Warning! This game installs unwanted third party software from Russia without permission. It attempts to install the Engima DRM malware/rootkit into your PC, which cannot be removed cleanly afterwards. This was flagged by Crowdstrike and other antivirus vendors as malware due to this behavior, and you can read about it here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/222480/discussions/0/4141689926403638284/ There's no way to opt out and you are forced to agree to a non-enforcable agreement which involves the developer selling your private data and profiling you. This is completely unethical and reprehensible. Gamers must be aware of the dangers of installing this harmful software and should avoid this completely.
This is a collection of 5 abandoned 8 and 16 bit console era Mega Man abandonware games with a ridiculous, greedy price tag, always on DRM (on single player console games!!!!) forcing you to be online so Capcom can presumably gather telemetry and personally identifying information about you and sell it. The games themselves are very shoddy, low quality console emulated Mega Man games, totally obsolete by todays standards, only fit for Mega Man fanatics who probably already own the games and consoles they were on... so there's no need for this to be on PC. Except, of course, for Capcom's desire to gouge gamers for decades old abandonware, and of course, spy on you. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. Due to the age of this game, and the lack of modernisation, the graphics appear quite dated. This compares poorly to more contemporary games with professional standards. Given that gaming is primarily a visual medium, this is a bit of a problem, so should be taken into account when considering whether to get this game. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. To make matters worse, there's no mouse input, despite this being sold on PC as if it were a PC game. This is unacceptable and somewhat insulting to PC gamers. It's a good demonstration of the poor attitude the developer has towards PC gamers, and this attitude has resulted in yet another defect in this game. These flaws make this game fall far short of the professional standards we expect from a modern PC game. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality game this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. Let's talk about pricing and the actual value this has for gamers. Is this game one of the best of the 175,000+ games on Steam? Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 has the greedy, cash grab price of $15 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games. For comparison, the $15 asking price for this game could get you games like "Valheim", "Dead Cells" or "Halo: The Master Chief Collection". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this. The developer is also asking for an additional $24 for a standalone soundtrack DLC on top of the $15 USD purchase price. They want you to pay them money to listen to music that is already the music you listen to in the game. There's enough defects and quality problems with this game that it's not worth recommending to gamers, but the unethical nature of the developer/their associates makes it completely impossible. There's absolutely ZERO acceptable, ethical excuse for a single player game requiring you to be connected to the internet and supply personally identifying information to a developer.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The games are even better than the ones in collection 1. Not a single miss here. (Obligatory mega man and bass comment)
8/10 Great collection! First of all, thank you very much to Capcom for releasing this collection on Steam. All four games are fantastic (even though Mega Man 7 was too hard for me, so I had to switch to easy mode—called “Extra Armor Mode”—in the settings). Mega Man 8 is my favorite (the graphics look fantastic, and the soundtrack reminds me of “Street Fighter 3: Third Strike,” especially the ending cutscene). If you want to play it on Linux and see the cutscenes, please choose GE-Proton 9-9. Mega Man 9 and 10 bring back the classic Mega Man sprite. It’s great that Mega Man 10 offers an easy mode. I wish the other games and collections had this feature as well. The only issue I have is that this collection has no Steam Cloud Support. Total and a message to Capcom: Anyway, I’m glad this collection exists. It would be great if these games were available on GOG someday. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I’m looking forward to playing your older games (I’ll definitely be playing the other Mega Man collection as well as Mega Man 11!).
别在斯提姆上直接买,去steampy上买激活码就几毛钱!
Admittedly, it took me a while to warm up to Mega Man 7. His (and the robot masters) sprite is a tad bit too big, and it leads to the game feeling a bit heavier and cramped than the 8 bit ones. Despite that, 7 arguably has the best art style in the classic series. Mega Man 8 is a bit of a mixed bag in terms of pure level design- but the music and pixel art make up for most of it. 9 and 10 though? Absolute masterpieces. Possibly the best 2D action-platformers ever.
Part 2 of the Mega Man collection is maybe not quite as essential as Part 1, but you can think of this as a worthy expansion package to grab if you love the first 6 games. MM7 and 8 are still essential titles IMO. 9 and 10 are definitely more aimed at series veterans with their difficulty levels, which I feel exceed that of the original NES games.
Grazie. Grazie davvero per tutto.
