Good game and concept. But its extremely hard figure out what all you need for a product. You have to search your entire inventory to understand what can go in the vending instead of having a dedicated filter. Then once you find it, you have to fill the machine 1 by 1 since you can only place it in one spot. Cake.....you have to buy everything in the bakery section just to figure out what is needed for the cakes. I bought every shelf but the prompt says you need a baker module, but nothing is labeled as such in the inventory. When you buy a product you have to go to the section with all the selves just to see and make sure that it has the same symbol that matches but its also in the same category of shelves that dont work. The spread of products are mostly pet stuff. Basically you have a pet store after a while. The game is really good but theres a disconnect. You have to solve a puzzle just to get some of the most simplest stuff done.
Sorry, this game is utter crap regarding UI Design. I started a new game as Multiplayer and selected "Tutorial"... When I went to the PC to follow the purchase instructions, it started off with white arrows. After the 3rd click it shows a gray arrow into nothing. The text was covering half of my 1440p display telling me to press a "+" Button or what ever. I couldn't click anything, could do anything but close the window with ESC and open it again to follow the tutorial again. What an utter crap design to FORCE overlay windows that can't be skipped. The 2nd thing was the checkout. Sorry but I couldn't leave the cashout... Clicking "right mouse" to cancle did nothing.... My girlfriend had to sit down on the checkout (where I was already sitting) so I could stand up. We thought "well, someone always has to be on the checkout in multiplayer" After the store was closed the issue remained... Refund... What a waste of time. How can this actually be rated good?! o.0
This is a great little market simulator that's easy to pick up and fun. The OOL is great. There are a few bugs here and there, but nothing I've encountered has been game-breaking or prevented me from enjoying the game. developer has been active, releasing bug fixes and updates on a daily basis. It's clear they're listening to feedback and working hard to improve the experience. If you're a fan of management or simulator games, and can deal with a little jankyness this is definitely worth checking out. It has a solid foundation, and with the pace of updates, it's only going to get better.
Better Mart Simulator, developed and published by Exanticx Studio, is an ambitious retail management simulation that invites players to build a successful supermarket from the ground up. Starting with a modest neighborhood shop, the game gradually expands into a full-scale business management experience where nearly every aspect of operating a retail store falls under the player's control. From stocking shelves and serving customers to managing finances and expanding the premises, the game delivers a satisfying sense of progression that rewards organization, efficiency, and strategic planning. Rather than focusing solely on profit, it encourages players to create a store that customers genuinely enjoy visiting, making every improvement feel worthwhile. The heart of the experience lies in its extensive management systems. Every day brings a new set of responsibilities, including ordering inventory, receiving shipments, arranging products on shelves, setting competitive prices, operating the checkout, and ensuring the store remains clean and inviting. As the business grows, players unlock new products, equipment, decorations, and larger retail spaces, allowing the supermarket to evolve into a much more impressive establishment. Deciding where to place shelves, how to organize departments, and when to invest in upgrades adds a strategic layer that keeps gameplay engaging throughout the progression. The steady expansion from a small convenience store into a bustling marketplace creates a rewarding sense of accomplishment. Customer satisfaction plays a significant role in shaping the overall experience. Shoppers react to factors such as product availability, store organization, pricing, and overall presentation. Poor inventory management or cluttered layouts can negatively affect sales, while maintaining well-stocked shelves and efficient service encourages repeat business and stronger profits. Balancing affordable prices with healthy earnings introduces another layer of decision-making, preventing the economic systems from becoming overly simplistic. As operations become more demanding, players can hire employees to assist with various tasks, reducing the workload while introducing new management decisions regarding staffing and workflow efficiency. One of the game's standout features is its cooperative multiplayer mode, allowing up to six players to work together in managing the supermarket. Instead of handling every responsibility alone, friends can divide tasks such as stocking shelves, processing customers at the registers, organizing deliveries, cleaning the store, or planning future expansions. This cooperative approach not only increases efficiency but also makes the experience considerably more entertaining, as teamwork becomes essential once the business reaches a larger scale. Players who prefer solo management are still offered a complete and enjoyable experience, but multiplayer introduces a lively social element that greatly enhances replayability. The visual presentation effectively supports the simulation without attempting to overwhelm players with excessive realism. The growing selection of merchandise, customizable interiors, and steadily expanding store layouts help reinforce the feeling of building a legitimate retail business. Watching empty shelves gradually transform into fully stocked aisles and seeing customers actively browse the store provides satisfying visual feedback for the effort invested in management. Ambient sounds, customer conversations, checkout effects, and the general atmosphere contribute to an immersive retail environment that complements the gameplay well. While the graphics are not groundbreaking, they remain polished enough to create a believable and enjoyable business simulation. As an Early Access title, Better Mart Simulator still has opportunities for improvement. Certain routine activities can become repetitive before automation and additional staff become available, and some interface elements could benefit from greater refinement as the number of management systems increases. Future content updates introducing additional product categories, deeper customer behaviors, expanded employee management, and more advanced business mechanics would further strengthen an already solid foundation. Fortunately, the existing systems already offer substantial depth, suggesting considerable long-term potential as development continues. Overall, Better Mart Simulator succeeds in delivering an engaging retail management experience that combines business strategy, customization, and day-to-day operational challenges into a satisfying simulation. Its progression system consistently rewards thoughtful planning, while the wide variety of management responsibilities keeps gameplay fresh across many hours. The cooperative multiplayer mode further distinguishes it from similar titles by transforming routine store management into an enjoyable shared experience. Although some areas remain unfinished due to its Early Access status, the current package already demonstrates a strong foundation that simulation enthusiasts are likely to appreciate. Players who enjoy business-building games with meaningful progression, detailed customization, and cooperative play will find Better Mart Simulator to be a worthwhile investment with plenty of room to grow.
It's a really fun game! I love how detailed it is, and the developers are still actively improving it. My friend and I have been having a great time playing together. It's definitely one of the best supermarket simulator games I've ever played.
