About
Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts aims to be the first game of its kind - a true naval warfare game - which offers a unique opportunity to design and build countless variations of realistic looking warships combined with an extremely in-depth and realistic combat model. We are absolutely excited with what we are making and we hope everyone who is interested about the dreadnought era and naval warfare, will join our ambitious project and support us.
BUILD THE BATTLESHIPS THE WAY YOU WANT
Become the architect of powerful warships, from small torpedo boats to mighty Battleships! Recreate famous ships such as the HMS Dreadnought and countless speculative designs. Pick turret layout, armor scheme, funnel placement, tower variations making each ship look and feel unique. Their hull characteristics, internal upgrade selection and weight distribution not only modifies their speed and maneuverability but also their weapon effectiveness. Every design detail of your warships has a significant effect on the combat capability of your ships.
STRONG AI
Naval combat becomes immersive and feels even more realistic when your opponent is able to react to your actions with a human-like and unexpected behavior. The AI evaluates the optimal engagement distance, using principles of the “Immunity Zone” and comparing its own firepower versus your ships. The AI uses ammunition wisely, holding fire when necessary or switching shell types according to the armor protection of the target. Unless there is a special mission directive, the AI will not act suicidally and will attempt to withdraw, if its fleet becomes heavily damaged or it is much weaker than yours.
NAVAL ACADEMY & CUSTOM BATTLES
The Custom Battle system allows you to experiment and enjoy naval battles utilizing endless combinations of ship designs in technology eras between the years 1890 and 1950 for ten different nations. Additionally, there is the “Naval Academy” which currently includes 63 battle scenarios, where you will have to design a ship or a squadron to fulfill a certain combat tactical task. These numerous missions will allow you to practice and enjoy the many innovative design and combat aspects of the game.
THE CAMPAIGN
You can fully design your fleet, immerse yourself in epic naval battles and make crucial strategic decisions on the map with a single goal to defeat your opponents by annihilating their fleets and strangling their economy. The map includes necessary historical and strategic aspects that can simulate actual facts of the period 1890-1940.

Reviews
Game showed amazing potential and was genuinely fun. However, as per most of the games under this developer it was a half developed flash in the pot that had it's plug pulled as soon as it's sales peaked and it lost momentum. Overall a vary similar strategy to KSP 2.
hey game-labs. how bout yall shutter yalls terrible company and release the source code for all your games. so people with actual braincells can rebuild yalls awful ideas. seeming all yall can do is vibecode with ai and scam ppl lmao. get off the internet.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bought this when it wasn't abandoned. Still too many bugs. Abandoned games aren't really worth buying, especially not one this expensive. I might play it from time to time, but only if I can't think of literally anything else to do. Quite disappointing how this game turned out.
Super awesome concept of a game, but is absolutely unfinished. Do not buy it.
A piece of abandonware where you'll control a line of battleships that, in theory, are screened by the assortment of destroyers and cruisers you ordered to screen them, but end up watching wander off as your battleships get swarmed by enemy destroyers and cruisers and sunk with torpedoes. Good job devs, you left a half-baked game. Wouldn't have bought it if I knew you'd just drop it like a baby in a dumpster on prom night. Edit: And said destroyers that decided to hide behind your battle line will frequently decide to launch torpedoes through said battle line and sink at least one friendly ship, which will cause you to Alt F4 and redo the battle on principle.
This game should be called "Destroyers" instead of "Dreadnoughts." I spent about 300 hours playing the campaign, and I haven't seen a game with such wasted potential in a long time. The AI only uses destroyers and spams us with dozens, making battles irritating and repetitive to the point of exhaustion. Our opponent barely uses formations at all, instead attacking us with "wild horde" tactics. The designs generated by the AI are hideous. The game sometimes tries, clumsily, to pretend to be something like Hearts of Iron. In my opinion, the game needs a few more patches. The only positive thing is the shipbuilding editor.
A really fun game that I have spent quite a bit of time in just designing the ships. Unfortunately as others have stated, the devs were laid off by game-labs since they refused to heavily montize the game. If you truly want it, wait for a sale!!
apparently game-labs is a fail, i had high hopes for this game but after this i certainly wont be buying any of their games again
Typical Game Labs game, exciting idea, half arsed implementation, full of game breaking bugs, never addressed, and abandonned, could be an award winning indie title, instead it's just another good intention. Day one bugs, and mindboggelingly stupid menus, I encounterd so far: * Encounters jump around the world map * Distant fleets are suddenly pulled into battles * Visible map position ≠ internal fleet position * Moving part of a task force can drag the whole task force along * Damaged ships are unexpectedly/randomly reassigned to ports after battles * Auto-repair logic breaks up task forces * Task forces silently leave invasion zones * nvasion tonnage suddenly drops without clear indication * Minor-power / strike-battle fleets appear seemingly out of nowhere * Divisions automatically reform during battles * Ships leave divisions without a clear order * Lead ship changes automatically and breaks command logic * Divisions ignore orders after lead-ship changes * Ships circle while trying to rejoin formation * Ships zigzag/S-turn instead of holding a straight course * Ships turn broadside in dangerous directions * Ships steer into crossfire * Collisions / stop-and-go movement inside divisions * AI launches torpedos from second line, sinking own ships of own fleet * Bad / chaotic starting formations * Damaged ships slow down the entire division * “Change Lead” on: constant leader switching * “Change Lead” off: formation gets stuck on the damaged lead ship * Selection drops after division/UI actions * Orders are not accepted because the wrong ship/division is active * After detaching a ship, the newly created division has to be manually found again * Incomplete / messy pop-up information * Designer/refit workflow forces unnecessary menu switching/reloading * Formations following other formations cannot adjust speed, so they race around the lead formation in circles uncontrollably * Peace offer accepted, but war state persists * AI asks for peace every turn without resolving the war * Peace treaty can appear accepted/signed but war immediately continues * Diplomacy state does not sync with war state * Alliances / ongoing invasions may prevent peace from sticking * Peace/reparations negotiation can silently fail without clear feedback * was build in Unity engine, probably never optimized, no matter what CPU or SSD, it's still lagging and loading a save for 3 minutes sometimes ...but there's more, way more, I just couldn't be arsed to write them down, not sure if anyone even could be bothered with a complete bug list, the devs for sure didn't
