Use Plot Tokens to claim or extend ownership of a plot of land for one month....Land I already bought through supporter packs. Nearly 100 bucks worth. Now I have to pay tax to keep using the land. Not what I signed up for. Devs got greedy. I left. It's not a bad game it's just not worth paying to keep playing, I already invested in your idea. I shouldn't have to pay extra to keep what I already paid extra for.
Nearly 180hrs into the game and this has been the experience: *Grind for 3 hours to fill 4 chests with ore *Grind 2 hours to cut wood for charcoal *Wait 2 hours for charcoal *Wait 2 hours for the ore to smelt into 2 chests of ingots *Craft half a chest of bars, THEN *Farm animals for hides for 3 hours *Wait 2 hours to turn those hides into leather, THEN *Farm 2 hours to turn wood into another component for smithing, THEN *Make 30 items but fail 10. Congrats, you've gained a level in smithing but only either armor or weapon not both. *Pay for subscription to plots to have enough room for your clan. Subscription renews after 30 days, now part of your plot area does not register as a plot so you can't build anything. *Make ticket and add photos so the person who receives the ticket will understand the situation. *Person responds 6 days later with a generic response and clearly did not even look at the attached photos. *Reply to said response indicating you do not have the issue they responded with. 9 days later and Adam decides not to reply back. *Cancel your 6 plot subscription, uninstall, leave negative review and watch game die.

why would you wanna play a game you gotta pay for land in game the game is fun as hell but paying for land is bs i give it a 1 star because of that
I paid $75 for the tippy-top version of the game when 4 plots of land to build on were included. I find it ludicrous that hey are now charging extra for even one plot of land. It was fun and all, but not worth a monthly fee just to have your own place to craft. Uninstalled and won't play again unless they change it.
Joined the game, walked around for 30 minutes, ran into someone. They told me to keep running around and you'll run into more people. Kept running ran into a woman building a house, I told her I was looking for people to play with. She took me back in the same direction I came from. Introduced me to the guy I just met. An hour and a half ago. Left them and walked a different way for 2-3 hours. Lots of big empty beautiful cities with absolutely nobody and nothing in them. I would barely consider this game to be a MMORPG but more like a crafting game with some rpg components.
I started to enjoy the game. There is something here but not with the current deployment. Refunded for the time being. Crazy idea. Drop the subscription system, allow a solo mode, open it up for players to run their own servers, and give the ability to make mods. Watch your sales soar. I would be the first one to buy it again at full price. Right now it just seems like they are trying to limp along a wounded horse. Good bones but there is nothing "special" here. Graphics are nice.
No mounts two years in, very few NPCs and wildlife, zero story, one of the worst crafting systems ever devised and no working economy, but what do these clowns do? "Hai guize, we're introducing birds!!111!" And the worst is? They somehow managed to be late on delivering one of the most absurd "new content" patch ever seen. This game is dead and it's all on Mainframe. I'm not sure if they took the most mentally challenged devs from CCP, Blizz, Next Games to create this company but I don't think I've ever witnessed devs with such a blatant disregard for their own playerbase. I hope they join the breadlines. They deserve unemployment.
Game has a lot of potentioal but unfortunately the plot (base building) system is complete trash and really puts a damper on the whole game, and when one of your plots doesnt renew and you loose all the work you put into it so you submit a ticket, the devs will blame you instead of helping you. complete lack of support. Dont waste your time on this game.
Game was fully released due to financial pressure. The game should still be in early access, as it isn't even close to a finished game. Pax Dei itself is gorgeous. The landscape, character models, and rest of the graphics are to die for. It really is a shame that the game is so beautiful, yet in a state of collapse. Due to the significant cost to play the game the player base if virtually non-existant, so there is no economy. Have had my market going since the game released and haven't sold a single item in the last two weeks. We even have a huge selection of free gear that has gone untouched for almost a month. The gameplay itself can be summed up in one word........... GRIND! All you do is grind, grind, grind. I have been playing online games for almost 40 years and have never experienced a game that requires as much grinding as Pax Dei. It is nothing but a time sink. The only enjoyable part of the game is building, however you have to pay big bucks if you want to experience that aspect of the game. Plots have to be rented for real cash. Pax Dei is dying a slow agonizing death. Do not waste your time or money. There are many other games out there, or coming out, that aren't going to charge outrageous prices just to be able to build and have storage space. Look to those games for your enjoyment. Wingnut.
love this game. pointers to devs though -make ONE plot free for as long as the person shows up (so people wo don't have the money can still store goods) -make bigger plots cost monthly money (so die hards can enjoy the space) -add stores of NPCs (if no one plays your game selling and buying is useless) YOU have a fantastic game with no players... beautiful bases built that sit empty. You at this point are your worse enemies.. ALSO Grace that helps you keep your base is not at all easy to get I am still in starting area with little skills.. crafting can fail which is cool, but not when you are racing the 30 day plot eraser.
