伟大无需多言,是这款游戏陪我走过疫情的封锁。当全世界都避之不及的时候制作组却能拿疫情中的各种现象来调侃,我给一百分
Perhaps Tropico 6's biggest problem is that by being a sequel in a long-running series, it inevitably draws comparisons with the previous titles. In that respect you could say that it would be a somewhat middling game on its own, but it feels like a downgrade compared to older games in the series. There are a couple of positive improvements. For example, in past games you would commonly run into an issue where your garages become overloaded and your roads are gridlocked as your entire population attempts to drive around. Tropico 6 removes the ability for most of your citizens to drive around by default and instead introduces buses. That said, it still isn't ideal as you're restricted to a single set of two locations where your citizens can get on and off and the AI doesn't always work out that the bus route would be faster than walking across the entire island. For the most part though, it's pretty janky or completely bland. Particularly egregious is that one of the major selling points pushed was the introduction of archipelagos - collections of small islands that you can bridge between and create a giant city out of. Except, the AI just isn't good enough to make it work, especially if you don't compensate for it by duplicating all of your service buildings. One of my first attempts at it had a set of connected bus routes for each little outpost where I was getting resources on the islands but it slowly ground to a halt as citizens would ignore the buses and try to walk to another island to get a need met. It almost always ended up safer and more reliable to not use road connections between larger islands. Another major issue is that your approval rating, which determines whether or not you win elections, is tied into a comparison of your citizens' happiness over a variety of metrics compared to the average "Caribbean Happiness" of your neighbours. Caribbean Happiness naturally trends up over time in such a way where if you don't do anything about it, you can lose despite your island being as much of a utopia as you can possibly make it. Thankfully, there's a building that can repeatedly take an action to lower Caribbean Happiness to the extent that it will slowly fall over time... basically making it so you would almost need to be trying to lose the election to do so even if you never built a single service building for your citizens. It's certainly a weird design decision to make a mechanic that fundamental either significantly too easy or just a bit too hard and require the player to spend their time micromanaging the difficulty if they want a balanced experience. As a consequence, there is only one mission in the main "campaign" (read: set of unrelated missions, not a campaign) that has an actual time limit and makes you feel like you should be doing anything other than just building up your economy and worrying about your citizens or mission objectives later. Some of this might be forgivable if the writing and humour lived up to past entries in the series but the dialogue and radio chatter just doesn't manage to be funny most of the time. It almost feels like it was an afterthought - much like the campaign - rather than there being a recognition that the humour was an integral part of the series. I'd give some partial credit to some of the DLCs having some interesting ideas and, at times, better writing, but frankly the total cost of the DLCs is over three times the cost of the base game at this point and pretty much have to be considered separately. As such, unless you're getting it on a deep sale/as a bundle I'd probably suggest skipping this one and hoping that Tropico 7 is better.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I just revisited this game, and I'm giving it a negative review so i don't forget and revisit it again. Too many pointless and weird mechanics, not enough focus on the core gameplay loop, and everything feels sloppy because of it.
Ideal para saber lo que se siente ser Maduro o CFK

the dlc politics are just crazy just think about it: you wont get the complete game unless you pay 300$
Im so good at this game when i have unlimited cash, no rebels, & no elections
If you've never played Tropico 6 before, it's kinda like Civilization VI strategy combined with Cities: Skylines building, except the satire is cranked up way past max, choombatta. If you like both of those, or even just Cities: Skylines, you should definitely give at least the basegame a try. Also there's character customization which is very cool.
I really wish they had a "meh" option to go along with the thumbs up and down, as a thumbs down feels to harsh. Overall the game looks as you would expect it to be, however as someone whos played Tropico since I was a kid, all the way from the original one up to the new ones, I have to say I hate the new style they have given the game. Ever since Tropico 5 they have gave it this "corny arcade" type game feel(almost as if its to pander to console players) and I really havent been able to enjoy it since. If people do happen to like this, I recomend you give Tropico 4 a try if you havent. Tropico 4 was the last real Tropico game before they started to go downhill with it imho. I really feel like they have took all the true flavour out of the game and made it this sorta bland game that every playstyle/game is essentially the same.....no matter what you do... Maybe its just me, but I just cant enjoy these new ones and always find myself going back to playing Tropico 4....
