Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.29/day in the week to Aug 16 → 5.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this is a fine modern update of the core game from the 2000's with more support for multicore and 64bit OS's and 4k capability. My gripes are basically singular yet really crucial, the UI. they changed the UI and imo completely screwed the game up. the UI is now astoundingly bad and far less intuitive. the agent list is less useful for example and makes it really difficult to quickly cycle through them. the building browser is tiny on the side instead of a window with lots of detail. its just such a downgrade and it doesn't look like post shogun or pre shogun its just this weird terrible UI. The UI alone is enough to make me play Rome 1 original or Med 2 except my win 11 install isn't working with the original right now so here i am.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Great game

Reminds me of dial up internet and coloring out the map in my Latin school book planning my next moves.
Good game for researching and building cities and Empire. Nice maps and battle graphics, I play on High not Ultra for the best results on my Intel Core i7 10th Gen computer. You can spend many hours having fun playing this game.
A true update to the original Rome Total War, I enjoyed it very much.
The original was one of my all time favorite games to play on PC. It took me some time to get used to the new UI, but now I don't even think about it. I think they have done a great job with this remaster. The game looks and feels good and still maintains many of the things I loved about the original!
