Tous, la franchise Splinter Cell est énorme !!!
Though Chaos Theory is generally considered the best in the series, I actually enjoy the linearity and tight flow of this campaign.
Recommended but wanted to use this space to complain. It's a stealth game so you're going to constantly get punished for trying to explore the area to figure out what to do next only to find a guard or security camera in your blind spot leading to an alarm or half your health gone in a couple seconds. You figure out how to navigate the area and then go to the next section, which leads to rinse and repeat. The tutorial does a poor job of explaining the point of the game/your main tool, which is you are basically invisible if you're in the shadows - killing the light, keeping quiet are your most important tools vs other stealth games which are based more on staying out of view and aggressively moving around to not be caught. There is a clunkiness to getting close enough to knock out enemies and very sensitive windows in which you're able to do so and their sensitivity to noticing you is mostly reasonable, but not perfect and there are moments of being halfway across the room and you dip your foot out and immediately the enemy raises the alarms. It took me about two hours to get understand the foundations of the game design despite having played a decent number of stealth series including Metal Gear Solid (one of my fav series of all time), Hitman, and Dishonored and I'm sure the poor transition from the beginning will lead to a lot of players quitting early. I very much appreciate that it handles its action better than the recent hitman series. I remember playing them awhile ago and realizing that those games were more sandbox puzzle games with interesting atmospheres - in Splinter Cell, each section that you do is a focused set piece and it does a great job of creating variety. One moment I'm climbing through vents, another I'm shooting out the lights to a street so I can sneak past the guards, next I'm chasing a guy around an exploding oil rig. This is stealth action vs hitman's stealth puzzle. Again, I do recommend it, but this is something that you should start only if you are really feeling like playing a stealth game or have patience because it does take time to acclimate to its design.
A very solid stealth action game that has stood the test of time pretty good. Definitely requires widescreen fixes for an enjoyable experience tho
eu sou muito ruim, mas gostei bastante do level e game design, além do som que é bem maneiro na marcação de passos sobre diferentes estruturas.
Great Storyline
it was fun
