Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Aug 26 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I think after about 40 hours of playtime in Tokyo Xtreme Racer (2025 Reboot), it’s finally time for a small review - even though I’m honestly pretty bad at writing them. First off, I’m a total casual gamer, and I know basically nothing about cars. Still, I’ve always enjoyed arcade racing games. Back in the day, I played Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 and Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Drift 2 on my modchipped PS2 (import games, goes brrr!) and had a great time. Later on, I also played Import Tuner Challenge (which is TXR under a different name due to publishing rights and such) on the Xbox 360. And that’s exactly where the new Tokyo Xtreme Racer picks things up again: this very unique feeling of nighttime highway racing in Tokyo, where it’s not about realistic simulation, but about vibes, style, and the 1v1 duel system. For those who don’t know TXR: at its core, it’s not a traditional racing game with laps or fixed tracks. Instead, you drive along Tokyo’s expressways (mostly the Shuto Expressway system) and challenge other drivers to duels. It’s not just about crossing a finish line first - there’s a "Spirit Point" system. Both drivers have something like a health bar that decreases when you fall behind, make mistakes, or get outpaced by your opponent. Whoever hits zero first loses. Because of that, every race feels more like a duel than a typical race - almost like a fighting game, just with cars. And that’s exactly what makes TXR so special. One thing that stood out immediately in the reboot is the atmosphere. Driving through Tokyo at night, neon lights everywhere, roads that feel relatively empty - and then suddenly an opponent appears. It has this strong "underdog" vibe that I just love. It’s hard to explain, but the game feels both old-school and fresh at the same time. Gameplay-wise, it’s exactly what I was hoping for: arcadey, not too complicated, but not completely brain-dead either. You feel progression pretty quickly, and new cars genuinely feel different (even if I couldn’t tell you why, since - again - I know nothing about cars). Another huge positive: there are no microtransactions, no real-money shop, and no annoying in-game store. Everything - really everything - has to be earned through gameplay. New cars, upgrades, progression - it all comes from actually playing the game. And honestly, that feels almost surprisingly good these days. No FOMO, no "pay to win," just play and improve. I also really like the progression system. You’re not just grinding races - you actively look for opponents, discover new areas, and slowly work your way through the "rivals." The fact that each new driver often has a name, a title, or even a bit of story gives the game more personality than you might expect. Of course, it’s not perfect. The AI can behave a bit strangely at times, and if you’re expecting realistic driving physics, you’re completely in the wrong place. But honestly, that’s not what TXR is trying to be anyway. Bottom line: if you’re into realistic racing sims, this isn’t for you. But if you just want to cruise through the night, switch your brain off a bit, and enjoy stylish 1v1 races, this game hits the mark perfectly. And please don’t expect Need for Speed Underground - it definitely isn’t that, and it never tried to be.

Reaturn to the roots with this installment. really enjoy it. Hoping to the new DLC if is planned....need more rivals.
Very fun and addicting, Togue DLC next please.
this game cheats and doesn't give you the tools to beat it on challenging. the rubber banding is atrocious and not fun. you can be driving a car tuned by the gods and some random street trash will pass you easily at ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 300km/h, their cars magnetize to the surface of the road and somehow find traction to accelerate in corners they should be slamming into the wall in.
Scratches that underground street-racing itch. Top notch game all around! 👍

I really enjoyed this game! Pure 2000s 'tuner' racing game vibes, with a really unique battle mechanic. Though it's not without its faults. Pros: The basics are covered really well - the game controls brilliantly (I played with an Xbox controller), the car models, handling, engine sounds, etc. are spot on. The atmosphere is excellent, and the Shuto expressway is modelled really well. There is a reasonable amount of variety to the AI driver behaviour which throws up unique challenges. Also, although there is only a single 'track', there is decent variety: long straight sections that let you build up immense speed, as well as a really complicated tight inner loop that challenges your skills and handling. Lots of tuning options, and managing things like tire wear and engine temp add an extra dimension to the battles. The perks system is quite strategic and can make or break battles, particularly at the higher levels. Icing on the cake: the game performed great on my system with no latency even on max settings. Cons: The game loop is ultimately pretty basic, you fight a load of roaming drivers around the Shuto expressway, earn credits to upgrade your car, work your way up to beat all the teams and the bosses of a given tier and then rinse/repeat several times while a "legendary" story plays out. It's quite repetitive and you'll probably end up beating at least 500 rivals over a career, and it's all on the same circuit. Also, the music gets very repetitive as the selection of tracks is quite small. It's good, but after a while you'll want to turn the BGM to zero and play your own music in the background. Other: If you're a completionist, there are several challenges you can only beat if you meet certain very specific criteria (set your licence place to a certain city, have beaten x drivers in a row, etc.) - you can really sink your teeth into this if you "gotta catch 'em all". But otherwise, after you've beaten the core game and you have the fastest car, I'm not sure there's much reason to come back to the game.
