Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.29/day in the week to Aug 8 → 6.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game was great until they ruined it by reducing damage... its called wreckfest why would you make it impossible to wreck? edit: hey devs, fix it.... just did a suicide race with zero wrecks. slammed into a car with a bus head on and did 5 damage... what is this. You are wreckfest. the whole point is damage and wrecks.
When I want to play a clean racing game there are plenty of titles out there for that. I purchased this game with the idea that it would be a WRECKFEST, but it became a game where you are not even allowed to touch any driver while racing in multiplayer. They also included a bus into the list of new vehicles with a content update but it is being prevented from driving in all fully active servers. What was the point of introducing the bus if it is not being allowed in all fully active servers? Also, what was the point of making a game and calling it Wreckfest when you are not even allowed to wreck? I feel like I have wasted my money and I am very disappointed because I am not allowed to drive my favorite vehicle which is the bus. If this problem can be solved then I would recommend the game, until then I wouldn't recommend it.

The latest May update broke all the fun I had in the game. The physic was previously fantastic and now feels like kids bumper cars. The sounds also have worsen. The engine are quieter and no shock sounds when colliding, just small "boop". Also, cars almost do not have windows anymore. The bots which were aggressive and made mistakes like human (created lovely chaos) are now souless and stick to track without issue like Wreckfest 1. Even their crashes intersection are screwed. No more cars flying around, just pushed on the side, staying horizontally. There is no more wreck festival in the game. The devs need to absolutely revert to the previous version. It's just Snoozefest currently. -> Physics and audio were fine. Revert, just add cars, maps and pursue UI improvement. Adding a community map creator tool would be a godsend too. Until then, won't be back ingame.
It's fine as a wrecking-racer type of game. But, you're better off buying the first one (at this stage) for a few reasons: - Track variety is very minimal, there's not a lot of creativity going into track design. - Music? There is none. The game lacks any kind of atmosphere without it, and the engine noises aren't good enough to fill the void. - Progression. Again, there isn't any at the moment. There is no reason to pick up this game and play it aside from sim-like wrecking racing in decent stints. - The feeling of "speed" isn't there. You can be doing 100km/h+ and the surrounding environment other vehicles are very easy to pick up on. Nothing really moves that quickly. Overall, I know it's early access, but it feels like the developers are focusing on stressing out my graphics card, rather than developing a game that's fun to play. I'm hoping it's more fun in the future.
Это вам не Форза для соевых подростков, которые еще не определились со своей половой принадлежностью. Это гонки для настоящих агрессивных альфа-самцов.
03/2026 - I currently cannot recommend the game, but there is potential. Over a year in early access and still many bugs and very little content. Camera facing backwards if you accept a friend invite to a server, random game crashes. Very few tracks and they feel very flat/boring, only a few cars that do not really differ, tuning-system is pointless, no progression - also no music at all? Currently it is a tech demo, not an early access title. Check back in a year or so
I used to play Wreckfest 1 and loved it. Wreckfest 2 has excellent graphics and I enjoy the physics - driving laps is great. The problem I have is that the AI is too erratic and I can't seem to finish a lap without being truined around or totally wipped out. I realize this is a derby game, but in Wreckfest 1, the AI seemed to have an interest in trying to win the race as opposed to only bash into you and drive around totally erratically. I wish there was a way to tone down the aggressiveness of the AI so there would be a little racing as opposed to total destruction - I felt Wreckfest 1 did it properly.
I love this game so much, so i wanted to leave a review for the devs. I really hope they see this! The latest Content Update #7 completely broke and changed the physics of the cars. Every car feels like its made out of paper. A slight bump into a car makes it deform so easily, and physics are very weird now. The physics were just right before this update! Also, 90% of crash sounds just stopped working. My car is flipping around and it's just silence. Update: there has been 2 patches since then. Most of the weird physics are gone. And i figured out the issue with the crash sounds. Most crash sounds are extremely quiet or just missing when you have the camera set from the drivers view (cockpit camera). If i switch the camera outside of the car, or even in front of the car's hood, all sounds play fine and are just as they were before. I hope they fix this issue because i only use the camera from the drivers perspective! Update on my update: Content Update #8 still hasn't fixed the audio issues in the cockpit camera. This single broken thing is actively killing my enjoyment of the game.
When I first tried Wreckfest 2 the day it came out I had high hopes, but now it is just to the point where it is just absolute crap. The bots are ridiculous. One moment you can be 20 second or more ahead and then out of no where they fly right past you and your in 10th place even when you don't crash. The bots make this game seriously frustrating to play and honestly are ruining it. If you want to get more players to enjoy this, drag your AI bots down to the level you had them in the original Wreckfest. That game was in my eyes one of the best versions of Wreckfest/Flat Out there was. The bots were somewhat challenging, but at least you had a chance to beat them if you manage to get into first, instead of all of a sudden a flip turns on and the bots become super gods. And the those bots where also not out to only screw you over whenever they got the change like in this game, as they were focused on everyone equally. For the waypoints, put a ring to indicate how close you need to be so the player at least has an idea of how close or far they need to actually hit the point. I got tired of restarting a race multiple times because I couldn't tell if I needed to hit the red marker or how far of a distance I needed to go to actually grabbed the waypoint. At this point I just don't think this game is as anywhere as good as the original and it honestly makes me sad because I was really hoping that the sequel to Wreckfest would continue my enjoyment for car demolition, but at this point this game is more about cosmetics and useless crap to make your car unique and has nothing to do with what made Wreckfest an iconic smash them up and race game. If you enjoy/enjoyed the original Wreckfest I would recommend just going back and playing that game as you might be as disappointed in this game as I was. I find myself trying to enjoy this game, but end up closing the game and switching back to the original Wreckfest. So for now, I am going to not recommend this game until they make some serious changes to the game play, the bots and make it so it can be fun to go down crash alley and just destroy the competition. Make this game worth coming in with friends to play, to mess around and enjoy, and not be something that can cause people to rage at.
I know this is early access but its been that way for over a year and I havent seen a lot of improvement. I am playing on a sim rig and keep going back to Wreckfest 1. The colors pop much more in OG Wreckfest. Graphics seem muddy in this so far. I cannot recommend the game but will change my review when I try it full release. Hurts me to leave this but I love Bugbear team.
