It's a short game. Took me 17 hours to finish. There isn't a lot to do in the world as its pretty closed and the game only lets you traverse through small sections of the map. The story was alright but it ended too quickly. There was a lot of buildup of tension in the story at the end of chapter 2 but the game ended at chapter 3 really quickly, chapter 3 only took me less than 2.5 hours to beat. The game also felt too easy even on easy mode as I literally turned into a bullet sponge at the end. Ironically, the final boss dealt less damage than random kaedwani soldiers. Overall, it's an ok game but felt like nothing really carried over to TW3

For Witcher fans or game researchers, The Witcher 2 is worth experiencing at least once. However, by modern gaming standards, the gameplay doesn't hold up well enough to warrant a full playthrough. In my opinion, the best approach is to simply catch up on the lore through YouTube story summaries, and then move on to The Witcher 3 or wait for the upcoming Witcher 4. Playing it today will likely feel incredibly frustrating and tedious. Of course, at the time of its release, The Witcher 2 was a masterpiece—few games offered such a sensational and robust narrative. But nowadays, it's best to just watch a quick playthrough or story recap to understand the plot, and then move on.

Багованная хуебота поебота с кривущей боёвкой и ебанутыми хитбоксами. В эту игру нет смысла играть от слова совсем, если начинать сразу с третьей части, то ничего не теряешь. Абсолютно. Осилил только потому что являюсь фанатом серии и пройти её в стиме было своеобразным гештальтом, не закрыть который для меня было бы преступлением. Из положительных сторон только сюжет, но лучше просто посмотреть пересказ на том же самом ютубе и идти наслаждаться шедевральной третьей частью.

Wcześniej grałem w W3 i pomyślałem sobie "Hej, czemu by nie spróbować W2 i przeżyć więcej przygód z dwoma mieczami na plecach?". I szczerze mówiąc zmuszam się do grania - nie jestem w stanie wysiedzieć dłużej niż godzinę, bo mnie szlag trafia od mechaniki tej gry. Ciągłe kluczenie po lokalizacjach, brak możliwości skakania, robienie wszystkiego z użyciem LPM (nawet żeby wleźć po drabinie!), toporna mechanika walki i "pół-otwarty" świat gdzie co chwila zderzasz się ze ścianą idąc do docelowego punktu. Ja rozumiem że gra ma swoje lata i wynikające z tego ograniczenia, ale naprawdę granie staje się nie przyjemnością, a torturą. Jak dla mnie inne aspekty (które są naprawdę świetne - jak fabuła, dialogi, lokacje) nie są w stanie wynagrodzić doświadczenia męczenia się zamiast relaksu.
