You play Adam Jensen, an ex-SWAT specialist who's been handpicked to oversee the defensive needs of one of America's most experimental biotechnology firms. When a black ops team breaks in and kills the very scientists you were hired to protect, everything you thought you knew about your job changes.

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

The game has a huge amount of stutters on current hardware. I'm so sick and tired of PC gaming nowadays. You pay money for a product which you don't have the opportunity to enjoy after a few years. This is crazy! Developers, Publishers, stop killing your legacy games and PC gaming industry! STOP KILLING GAMES!
15 years later I still think about this game. Nothing else quite captures the same feeling as Human Revolution. The atmosphere, music and aesthetic are top tier and the gameplay is enough fun for me to replay. One of my favorite games of all time

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

At this point, I believe everyone already knows this game is undeniably legendary. It builds upon the lore and story of the first one so well and has many easter eggs and references throughout the whole game. Also, Jensen is such a great, mysterious and fleshed out character with a complex and interesting backstory. I loved the gameplay, though I have to say it's a bit too punishing if you want to go full-on stealth, as even a moment outside of cover is enough to instantly alert all enemies. The world-building is where this game shines the most. It's hyperatmospheric and the vibes are very cyberpunk/bladerunner-esque, minus the neon colors. Buy this game and marvel at how good games used to be.
If possible, I’d try and play the non-director’s cut version of the game just for the fact it doesn’t have the DLC built in. Which, I know, seems backwards but seriously the DLC is pretty ass. It has a ton of padding and backtracking right at the end of the game, and is unskippable if you have director’s cut. Unfortunately, the original version is no longer on Steam unless you bought it back before Director's Cut came out. So, kind of a moot point. Other than that though, this game is very good with tough but fair stealth mechanics. The story is interesting, the environments are cool, and the various ways to achieve goals are pretty good too. The DLC does not bring this down very significantly, and I think it is worth it to push through to finish the game. 7/10, buy it on sale.
I would describe it as a shining gem hidden inside a dark cave. This stealth game feels inspired by Metal Gear Solid 4, especially with its stealth system and the smooth transition between first‑person and third‑person perspectives, which is excellent. The story and narrative are rather dark, but they reflect reality and borrow the RPG‑style dialogue system reminiscent of Mass Effect. It’s a great series that has been completely forgotten, which is a shame for such an ambitious title. For me, it deserves nothing less than a 10/10.
This isn't really Deus Ex. I've dipped into this wayward IP several times since the original game captivated me, and I could never really grasp why none of these games felt quite as gripping as Deus Ex. It was difficult to pinpoint because Adam Jensen's story is absolutely substantial and well-written. The gameplay is certainly excellent in its own right, with a respectable balance between thorough stealth and open combat intensity. And the music also paints the world with an air fitting this dark and pragmatic environment. But I think I'm beginning to understand that these are not defining hallmarks of Deus Ex. Watching through the Making Of video included in the extras of this game, I've found that they highlighted the exact departures that have guided this franchise to its grave for the second time. Deus Ex is meant to be total free reign play, guided by conspiracy theory and sci-fi fantasy, a world that is serious but doesn't carry itself seriously, and leaning into the imagination of the player to unravel the lore of the world while giving them a playground to explore in their own way. This game was more than just a prequel leading into the original, it was a reboot that redefined what Deus Ex is meant to be. And that destroyed the IP. Human Revolution sacrificed all the defining features of Deus Ex to create something new, something that fits into the same universe perhaps but leaves behind everything that made Deus Ex a truly excellent game. If you want Deus Ex, this isn't it. But it is a great dystopian cyberpunk game nonetheless, and the only substantial negatives are that is fails to capture the legacy of Deus Ex. The world in this game discusses transhumanism quite extensively, and frequently grapples with the ethics of transcendence and the definion of humanity throughout. The dystopian state of the environment is very tangible. This game tells a very personal story however of someone who is trapped in this world and recreated by it, rather than one which explores the broader topics. And while several of the characters have strong presence and distinct personality, they're seemingly designed with a particular moody factor that grounds them in unlikeability. This game is dark and pragmatic and holds back no punches in giving you a thorough cyberpunk simulation. A solid experience in its own right, and a game worth playing if you like this genre. It just isn't the Deus Ex that it was supposed to be, and ended up being another scar on the legacy of a very different and deeply tarnished universe that could have been better.
This is a game I consider to be one of my Best. It's challenging andso interesting.
This is a phenomenal game. Polished, open, interconnected and free. The themes, characters, music and gameplay are perfect and it made me fall in love with the franchise. It's worth it, especially on sale.
Cyberpunk stealth action. Choose different approach kill or not to kill. For me Deus Ex is one best games I every played I would probably put it in my top 10 list. Human Revolution is part of duology followed by Mankind Divided and resolve plot after playing both games. Game is quite complex. Soundtrack is amazing. Still waiting for sequel.
