I dont know if things have changed since I got the game or if it wasnt an issue for most people, but for me at least, it was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ impossible to get the game to actually work. like genuinely it took like a week of looking through obscure forum posts for solutions to finally get the game to actually launch. then when I actually got the launcher to launch the game itself still didnt launch and took a couple more hours to figure out that it was an issue with my CPU having too many cores and I had to fix it by ending an incredibly specific task in task manager each time I started the game up. It's a solid game overall, nowhere near as good as 3 but it has its moments and I like the more political style of story, even with the plotholes and shortcomings. the combat is the clunkiest ♥♥♥♥ ever and kind of a massive pain in the ass sometimes. the graphics hold up well enough, the technical quality is kinda awful but the lighting and artstyle carries it. overall I had a fun time and if you're a big fan of the franchise like me then I recommend you give it a shot. one of the coolest things this game does, in my opinion, is having a completely different second act based on who you sided with in the first act. and when I say completely different I mean COMPLETELY different; different characters, different quests(both main + side), different locations. And my god CDPR for the love of O' Dimm please fix your freaking game. I dont actually remember what I did to fix the game originally, but I think it involved installing a really old version of the Visual C++ redistributables from like 2010. Oh, and be warned DO NOT make too many saveslots, if you make too many the game's performance will start tanking and eventually it'll just start crashing randomly, and the more saveslots you make the more often it crashes, eventually it got so bad that I couldnt even play the game for more than a couple minutes at a time. then, once you go to start clearing your saveslots the game will just crash after deleting like 3 or so of them for some reason.

Neskutečné mistrovské dílo, které nestárne! (10/10) Pokud hledáte RPG, kde na vašich rozhodnutích opravdu ZÁLEŽÍ, Zaklínač 2: Vrahové králů je absolutní vrchol žánru. Právě jsem hru dohrál a doteď nemám slov. Co mě na téhle hře naprosto odpálilo: Příběh a brutalita: Žádná černobílá pohádka o dobru a zlu. Svět Zaklínače je špinavý, plný politických intrik, rasismu a těžkých morálních voleb, kde si prostě musíte vybrat menší zlo. Volby, které mění VŠE: Tohle není jako dnešní hry, kde vám vývojáři dají jen iluzi volby. Tady se na konci 1. kapitoly rozhodnete pro jednu stranu (Roche vs. Iorveth) a celá druhá polovina hry je ÚPLNĚ JINÁ! Jiné lokace, jiné úkoly, jiné postavy. To dává hře neskutečnou znovuhratelnost. Celkově má hra prý 16 různých konců podle toho, jak se zachováte! Atmosféra a postavy: Geralt je skvěle napsaný, ale to, jak prožíváte příběhy s postavami jako je Iorveth, Triss nebo drsný Letho, vás k té obrazovce doslova přibije. Finále v Loc Muinne je neskutečný politický i bojový masakr. Hratelnost: Bojový systém vás nenechá vydechnout – musíte kombinovat meče, zaklínačská znamení (Quen a Aard jsou život!), oleje a petardy. A mini hry jako kostkový poker nebo přetlačování rukou jsou skvělým zpestřením (jen pozor, ať nevyhodíte kostky ze stolu!). I v dnešní době vypadá hra vizuálně fantasticky a atmosféra vás úplně pohltí. Pro mě osobně je to jedna z nejlepších dějových her, jaké jsem kdy hrál. Pokud váháte, okamžitě kupujte. Tohle za ten čas a peníze stojí každou vteřinu. Šup s tím do košíku!

Es ist manchmal ein richtiger Krampf zu erkennen, wo man entlanglaufen kann, weil man nie erkennt, wo Wege sein sollen. [*]Nerviges Inventarmanagement. Für heute Verhältnisse nicht sehr intuitiv. [*]Technik – Das Spiel ist bei mir mehrmals abgestürzt. [/list]
