Review – The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition (Steam) I played The Witcher 2 after finishing newer RPGs, and despite its age, it still stands out for its story, choices, and political intrigue. 👍 What I Loved The story is excellent, with a darker and more mature tone than most fantasy RPGs. Choices actually matter. Entire quest lines, locations, and perspectives can change depending on your decisions. The characters are memorable, especially Geralt, Roche, Iorveth, and Triss. The game respects your intelligence and doesn't constantly hold your hand. 👎 What Didn't Age Well Combat can feel clunky and unforgiving, especially during the early chapters. The UI and inventory management are dated. Some quests don't always provide clear directions, which can lead to unnecessary confusion. The game expects preparation before difficult fights, something that may frustrate players coming from The Witcher 3. ⚖️ Final Verdict The Witcher 2 may not be as polished or accessible as The Witcher 3, but it offers one of the strongest stories and most meaningful choices in the RPG genre. If you can tolerate some dated mechanics, you'll find a fantastic adventure with consequences that genuinely matter. Recommended 👍 A must-play for fans of story-driven RPGs and anyone who wants to experience one of Geralt's best adventures. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
