A HUGE improvement over Witcher 1. One of the better story driven games I've played to this day and it was made 15+ years ago. Combat/visuals/story all stand up to most of todays games. Especially the story. Pros: Top tier story writing. Up there with Mass Effect / Baldur's Gate for having genuinely believable characters. Keeps you almost thinking at night about what might happen next. Your decisions play a role in what happens and there are some tough choices they give you. Geralt is slowly becoming one of my favorite protagonist. Is he the most interesting? No. But he definitely is perfect for what the game is trying to portray. Meh: Some of the side missions are eh. A lot of running around the map and going back and forth if you try to even remotely do everything. I think there's some odd spikes / not fun fights that I feel like you almost have to cheese with your witcher signs. I can't imagine enjoying this game on insane difficulty because there's too many group fights in small rooms that I feel like become unfun. Overall I give it a 8.5 / 10. A very solid experience and a good way to get into Witcher 3 before playing it. I feel like I know what to expect and what to look forward to a little more in 3 now.

Started in 2018, finished in 2026. I put the game on hold for quite a while, but I finally finished it. What a great story. I expected nothing less from the Witcher series. I'll never forget the music, the characters, or the story. This game is simply unforgettable.

Mais uma análise para a conta. Meu primeiro contato com The Witcher foi através desse jogo. Não vou mentir: no começo senti uma certa preguiça de continuar, não só por ser o primeiro rpg que pego pra jogar de verdade mas principalmente porque a gameplay é um pouco travada e demorei para me acostumar. Isso acabou tirando um pouco da minha vontade de jogar, mas depois que peguei o jeito só parei quando terminei a campanha. Mesmo após quase 15 anos de seu lançamento, o jogo ainda conta com gráficos incríveis. Porém, senti que a otimização deixa um pouco a desejar. Fiquei limitado a 60 FPS e tive algumas quedas de desempenho aleatórias, mesmo reduzindo as configurações gráficas. Fora isso, é um jogo insano. Agora falando das coisas boas: praticamente tudo nesse título me chamou atenção. A progressão do personagem, a árvore de habilidades e a forma como vamos recuperando a memória do Geralt ao longo da história são muito bem feitas. Aos poucos vamos entendendo melhor os acontecimentos e personagens importantes, como o Letho, o que torna tudo ainda mais envolvente. Sem dúvidas, The Witcher 2 tem uma história excelente, e as escolhas realmente impactam a experiência. É um daqueles jogos que só jogando para entender o quão especial ele é. Recomendo muito!. Mais um pra lista. Definitivamente um JOGAÇO DA P0RRA!!.
