Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.14/day in the week to Aug 31 → 6.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Abandoned it after I beat
the Demon General
and got to the metroidvania part, which I hoped would be different but after playing for a bit I kept thinking "oh no, more of this..." so ♥♥♥♥ off, game. The game / story / characters try to be funny all the time, which I could ignore (and who cares about story in a game like this) but after a while it came across as stupid an kind of annoying to me. I'll admit I chuckled a few times though. Also, I find people's hard-on about 8-bit music weird, it's utterly annoying to me.

why does racing have to suck in every game (One of the best indies i've played in a long time)
A charming indie game that is maybe one of the few games to actually make me laugh out loud. Combat is fun, bosses are fun, and platforming, its best asset, is fluid and engaging. At some point the game decides to switch to a backtracking metroidvania which, while still kind of interesting, feels deeply repetitive as you are tasked with going through previous areas rather than it being up to your own free will (as in traditional metroidvanias). Like to progress you have to instead go backwards, and it unfortunately makes the game feel like it's dragging out its playtime rather than actually adding more content. But the game is still fun enough to see it through. Wouldn't say I felt wowed overall and I can't say I was ever fully drawn in in the way that true fans of this game seem to be, but every part of it (writing, art, music, platforming) is a solid enough experience to be worth your money and your time.

Yep
I thought this game would be mid, but it's actually really really good. The writing is decent, the levels and bosses are fun, the music is very good. Turns into rage game on the penultimate level. The [free] DLC seemed samey, but even more frustrating, maybe some other day.
