The Messenger

The gameplay was the least interesting thing about this one, and the gameplay was solid. Soundtrack was great and I enjoyed the story and all of the interactions with the shopkeeper. Though similar on the surface it didn't really feel that self-righteous indie game writing *cough* undertale and celeste *cough*. Gameplay wasn't super deep but was pretty fun and didn't get too old, The soundtrack really kept me going though. I love a good time switching ability and while this one was tied to specific map locations it was super cool that the soundtrack is modified for each time period in the same zone. The only time the game really felt like it was dragging was because I decided to get all of the collectible coins. Wasn't really worth it, you unlock a new item that's good but not game-changing.

Tavsiyedir.👌 The Messenger, yapmaya çalıştığı her şeyi iyi şekilde kotarmış ve beklentimin bir hayli üzerine çıkan bir yapım oldu. Platform öğelerinin çeşitliliğinden tut, bölüm tasarımlarına, müziklerine, sanat tarzına, mizahına kadar her şey olmuş hissettiriyor. İki katmanlı olarak dizayn edilmesi, oyun döngüsü açısından oldukça çeşitlilik katmış ve görmeye alıştığımız yerleri farklı şekillerde tekrar deneyimlememizi sağlamış. Bu oyunla ilgili olumsuz tek konu combatın neredeyse baştan sonra aynı kalması. Düşman çeşitliliği ve özenilmiş boss tasarımlarıyla bu konu fazla can sıkmıyor ama oyunun özellikle bu konuda potansiyeline erişemediğini düşünüyorum. Ek olarak diyalogları okumanızı mutlaka tavsiye ederim. Gerçekten çok komik bir dili ve mid bir hikayesi var.

Finally getting this out of my backlog. It's really good! The platforming is simultaneously punishing but forgiving (more often the latter), the time travel mechanic is smartly done, and the writing is clever (you can tell they had a blast writing it).
