Reviews
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered invites players back into a vividly reimagined Cyrodiil that successfully balances nostalgic charm with modern graphical fidelity. Lush forests and ancient ruins appear particularly striking under the new lighting engine, creating a pervasive sense of place that makes the familiar landscape feel invigorated. Heavy reliance on volumetric fog occasionally obscures these breathtaking vistas, rendering the atmosphere needlessly claustrophobic in certain open regions. These visual intrusions often feel at odds with the vibrant art direction, forcing one to look past the persistent haze to appreciate the underlying beauty of the provincial countryside. Customisation via community-made modifications proves absolutely essential for mitigating the notorious level scaling and progression hurdles that defined the original experience. Implementing tweaks like Ascension and Balanced Unleveled Rewards transforms the character growth loop, ensuring that every dungeon crawl feels appropriately challenging without penalising the player for merely gaining experience. Revised controls and the introduction of a new weapon wheel unfortunately present a clunky hurdle for those who cherished the original interface's simplicity. Navigating menus often feels cumbersome, requiring a period of patient readjustment before one can efficiently manage gear or quickly swap between favoured spells during intense combat encounters. Sneak attacks and marksmanship remain immensely satisfying, providing a reliable backbone for stealth-focused characters wandering through the expansive world map. Dungeons vary significantly in quality, however, as many generic mines and caves fail to offer unique rewards, occasionally making these subterranean treks feel like empty, repetitive chores between more meaningful quests. Mastering the tricky lockpicking minigame demands precision, especially since the adjusted control scheme can make subtle movements feel far less responsive than they once were. These small friction points require perseverance to overcome, yet the freedom to tailor the mechanical experience through mods ensures the core journey remains deeply personal. Overall, this revisited classic manages to shine by allowing dedicated fans to polish away the rough edges of its design whilst preserving the spirit of exploration. It serves as a rewarding, if technically imperfect, return to a beloved fantasy realm, provided the player is willing to tinker with the underlying architecture.
Bellissimo (Prestazioni distintamente merdose) ma bellissimo

caca
Genuinely enjoy the remaster, you will have to tweak the settings in order to play this game smoothly, saw a few people complain about performance issues and its understandable... but only understandable to the ones that meet the minimum specs.... I mean if you are under minimum specs or just at the bar you shouldn't be playing this on anything but low quality all the way though.
Easily a contender in the "top 5 games of all human history thusfar" catagory. At least the original is. This is just a decent remaster.
