The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

A great game hampered by terrible performance (Get an optimization mod like "Optimax" or the "Oblivion Remastered ultimate FPS fix"). If you were a fan of the original, it is very similar with a few modernized featured like HP regen. I would recommend but do have your phone nearby when loading certain zones and the game itself, especially if you play the game unoptimized

Bethesda classic "modders will fix it". This game cannot run slowly as you buy it, regardless of your spec, you must look to modify the game from the get go. Truly shameful and disgusting business practices from Bethesda Game Studios.

also bisher habe ich keine probleme nicht wie andere sie beschreiben. ich habe überall das maximale an grafik eingestellt und spiele mit einer 3000er auflösung. bisher läuft es ruckelfrei bei 70 fps. und ich habe jetzt keinen sehr modernen pc mehr wie man in meinen geräteeigenschaften erkennen kann. ich halte euch aber auf dem laufenden. bzw auch das laden und speichern hat bisher keine probleme bereitet

Its just Oblivion with a new coat of paint. Only reason to get this is for future mods that could be released.

Performance issues really makes this game unenjoyable. Also in a time of good remakes, this just feels like a re-skinned version of the original with nothing new to add.

Highly unoptimized with extreme 1% drops that create continuous stutters when loading new areas. The performance in the tutorial and in contained environments are acceptable. Once you exit the sewer and the world opens up, the game's broken engine shines bright. I would go from 100 fps to 30 fps whenever there was noticeable load. And guess what, when you explore the open world there is continuous loads that create "stutters." There isn't a graphic adjustment fix, a mod fix, this one will require Bethesda to take ownership of the problem and fix it.

i'm tentatively not recommending this. i played oblivion right before they released this version. i have to say that the menus (and the map) are maybe a thousand times easier to use than in the original game, but otherwise this version makes no difference to my enjoyment. i would have enjoyed playing through the original oblivion just as much as i enjoyed this remaster. it took me so much fiddling to get the game to run on my system, i had to download mods to stop it from stuttering. this is an attempt to play on nostalgia rather than actually improve the game in any way, or even, god forbid, release a new elder scrolls game.

2 patches and thats it? ♥♥♥♥ off Scumthesda.
