Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Spellcaster University gave me more than I expected, and I wouldn't change anything, even if I found myself wanting more. It sparked the realization that its core student management through indirect influence could serve as the foundation for a broader genre. The game sits intriguingly between Majesty and traditional management sims: you don’t control students directly, but you shape their environment, curriculum, and destiny. The rotating map system, where each school faces destruction after a set time, adds a roguelike layer. Graduated students carry forward bonuses, traits, and legacies that influence future schools. This mechanic where past success or failure echoes into future runs feels ripe for expansion. Curses and blessings earned through gameplay add strategic weight and narrative continuity. It’s a game that made me imagine what else could be built from this blueprint: a magical academic saga where each generation of students reshapes the arc of a long campaign. Loved the game though!

nickel

Underrated game. Much to explore under the surface
Did you spend countless hours of your youth building prestigious but chaotic high rises in the Maxis classic SimTower? Did you also obsess over the supernatural fandoms of the early 2000s? Buffy, Harry Potter, Being Human, Supernatural... You know the ones. Are you the kind of person who saves and reloads over and over again until things go your way in a game? Then this little gem is going to be your new indie favorite. You build magical schools, recruit students, hire teachers, and pray to the magical gods that your students are successful when they graduate, because funding, amirite? The big bad of the land will chase you from one biome to the next, where you have to start over (and hopefully learn and grow from your mistakes)... but the replayability is pretty high because every school you build is different and in part, based on chance as you draw your resources from decks of magic cards. It feels like it could be a solid base for an actual tabletop board game, but the animations and graphics are so cute, you'd miss out on a lot of the charm in that format, so I'm glad it's here instead.
