Over View: This is a"Game Maker", and it's a damn good one. This is as basic a game maker can get. If you want to get into game making and scratch or other game makers are to hard to learn, this one is good. Games in it: All of them are bad. All of them, well except for the Legend of Zelda demake by RetroSoc I saw. Reminders: If you want something to not move THEN LOCK IT. -Broyo

very,vERY,gud game. go to sok-stories. com and search for me,Yugusuf.
Great tool for young kids and other people that just don't jive with the whole "programming" thing but want to make small games.
draw an egg. draw a cracked egg. draw a yolk. draw a fried egg. draw a pan. open the rulebook. clicking the egg leaves the cracked egg. clicking the cracked egg leaves the yolk. the yolk + the pan = the fried egg. you just made the story of breakfast the possibilities are endless
This would be fun if there weren't so many low-effort creations, which I believe are incentivized by having an steam achievement for uploading one story. I'm not that creative but I did manage to put together a little visual math exercise, called Side Math, and was pretty pleased with how it turned out. There could be a little better explanation or first-time tooltips like "hey go to the last page to manage transitions" because I had to look up where that was hidden. Also once I figured the rules and transitions all out it does seem to be very basic, which is part of the charm I guess, but to a point where I wanted to limit transitions but had no way of doing so. Then I played some of the puzzles on the 'random' selection and they were mostly just 15 second drawings that may or may not use a single rule. There could be a lot of short fun 'wario ware'-esque games here but as it stands you can't find the good ones. My stage took about a half hour to make and I had a good time, but I didn't find a single other puzzle that looked like it had more than 5 minutes of effort in it, except one very enjoyable one called "Healthy Squirrel" which honestly was a good enough time for me to replay it. I did eventually find the search and could sort by rating so that greatly improved the quality of the stories, but just like the lack of guidance in the builder it took me awhile to find the search feature, meanwhile the random puzzle button is on the game's startup screen.
i loved it and it's perfect for introduce kids in the game development world. can be easy and fun even for adults! the only request i have to do is, they maybe could add ctrl z, ctrl c and ctrl v shortcuts, to facilitate the work
Sokpop, you guys seriously need to start including some basic options menus in your games! I know it seems pointless or redundant, but I dislike that there's not a windowed mode, which allows me to draw the game onto my drawing tablet window. Very cute toy besides that, it's very fun and silly.
Literally the best game creation platform, especially for kids. Get off my planet, Roblox, make way for Sok Stories. Can't recommend it highly enough to the parents of the 4-10 set looking for a fun way to make games together.
