A game designed for inducing FOMO. It has resource scarcity that forces you to play every single day to just barely scrape by. Could be cute, but the artificial limitations are just too annoying to put up with. I generally don't like mechanics that force daily play in multiplayer, and I especially do not like them in singleplayer. Even if I can or am willing to play on a daily basis, the game is inherently designed so that you cannot move ahead or make extra progress because you have to wait literal real-life days between quest conversations, as well as gather a couple resources per day so that you can make one or two recipes that are, again, tied to quests.
I was playing for my boy Butters and got sucked in. Unironically a banger. My gripe with it is that a little too much fomo/time gating has bled over from the mobile version. It's not really noticeable until end game, but it's not like I can just pull my pc out of my pocket to do little dailies in my down time.
kuromi showed me her haunted mansion & asked if i needed help solving the puzzles but she doesn't know silent hill/from soft made me ♡ safe to say i solo'd it ez ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ̑̑
As a Sanrio fan, I’m obsessed with this game! Seeing My Melody, Kuromi, Hello Kitty, and all the other characters together makes me so happy. It’s cute, relaxing, and full of charm. Definitely worth playing. 🎀💞
I literally bought this game with the intention it would be quick and cozy enough for my brain to turn off during exams. This game is wild and grindy and oh my god- the price was worth it because the game keeps GOING!! There is a lot of content for your buck in just the base. I personally had hoped it was a sweet 4 hour game. Unfortunately, I am an achievement-♥♥♥♥♥ and somehow ended up with way too many hours in this game due to the level of content provided. So, if you are wondering if it's cozy? Yes. It is not decorative heavy thankfully and not farm heavy, either. It focuses on relationships and questing. The story-line is there but it's a kids version of 'Snakes on a plane' but make it baked goods and 'Lost' meets ultimately some scrapped version of the tv show Stargate Atlantis. Enjoy.
You wake up on an unmanned plane, surrounded by strangers. It is unclear why or how you got there exactly. Their leader speaks to you, urging you to take your seat. Soon or later, the unmanned plane malfunctions after mysterious circumstances involving either the world’s best technology or the darkest of dark magic that could solve world hunger. Anyhow: You jump from the crashing plane, and land on a mysterious island. The leader of the cult entrusts you to become the loyal worker, the conflict resolver and genuinely most of all just the stickcollector. Seriously, hoard those sticks. After a successful franchise, a few series, and maybe a few movies (Probably should’ve looked more into this before typing this all out) Hello Kitty is back in the best way possible in a game that finally understands that cozy gamers are addicted to the grind and basically just forces you to be active a few hours a day, and then there’s kinda nothing left to do, so you log out. In concept it is a terrible system, but it somehow works for this game because the characters are cute and you cannot get mad at them because of that.
Fun slow paced game. Only compliant is you're limited on how much you can do per day.
Pretty much requires the player to log in everyday + you gotta wait real-life days to advance in quests and friendships. Just not worth it for that price(
This game is truly so much fun for me. I have all of the DLCs, and honestly, even without them, the main story is extremely fun and immersive. Yes, it can be extremely grindy, but I think it's totally worth it. This game definitely has something for everyone, the mechanics you can unlock are super fun to upgrade, and it's super fun to try to complete every challenge and tab in your collection book. I highly recommend you use a controller because m&k controls can be kind of annoying to deal with. All in all, as a massive sanrio fan, I love the characters in this game, especially the niche ones in the DLC. If you're looking to play, definitely try. The DLC is like an entire new story, so keep that in mind if you're considering upgrading to either of the DLCs. I cannot wait for more content for this game!
