"It's just one button, how hard could it be" *28 Hours Later* My wrists hurt. And I didn't even use both hands. My other wrist just got so much second-hand embarrassment from how much my OG wrist ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up it strained itself. This is my favourite Rhythm Game of all time.
good game. fun to hit notes. beautiful sprite art, at times. a true rhythm game, where listening to the music was often more reliable than the visuals. a couple issues 1. putting the hardest bit of the 3m long song at the end is just mean bro. i gotta redo stuff i already know to practice the one thing i DONT know. I will fail. i will struggle to adapt because of the time between attempts. practice mode might be an idea 2. a lot of song lyrics just sound like a conversation lol. but like they're singing instead of talking 3. i wish the finale was its own thing instead of a remix but it's still cool 4. why am i still intern i need a promotion immediately shortly after 100%ing this game, i underwent increased heart rate, chest pains, trouble breathing and light headedness for no discernible reason. i have no proof. but i know it was rhythm doctor
For being a rhythm game that requires only a SINGULAR button imput to play, it can get surprisingly hard in ways one wouldn't be able to imagine- and I LOVE IT
Beginning of the game: Okay, cute, fun, not sure I totally see how this is a full game. End of Act 1: Okay, that was interesting... End of Act 2: What? Huh? End of Act 5: Oh my god. This is the most anime (complimentary) thing I've ever seen. End of Act 7: *Tears in my eyes* All of video game development lead to this moment and it was all worth it.
Thoroughly enjoyed this game. It was pretty difficult towards the end but I still had so much fun repeatedly failing the same level again and again. Would highly recommend all rhythm game lovers to give this game a try!
as a 68 year old man with hearing problems this game does really well to accommodate with accessibility and difficulty sliders. it almost makes me want to pick up the old sticks and get the band back together haha
Without any exaggeration, this is one of the greatest games I've ever played. I could go on for literal pages about how phenomenal this game is and why it hits so. damn. hard. But instead, just buy it, dawg. I promise it's worth your money.
Top 1 rhythm game. This game does things to Windows that should not be allowed by any game engine.
Such an addicting rhythm game. Beautiful and well polished levels. The songs are very catchy and the inclusiveness of actual lyrics that relate to the level are great! Best part about this game has to be the co-op aspect. As a person who loves to play rhythm games and also has friends who also loves rhythm games, playing together locally was one of the best experiences. We need more co-op rhythm games and this is a great example. I can say this is like sort of a sucessor to the Rhythm Heaven series as they have similar elements but displayed differently, so if you're a fan of that please do check this out! The custom levels from the community are also amazing, almost forgot about that. Overall very fun and beautiful game. 10/10.
Top 3 rhythm games and it ain't 2 or 3
