I adore this game, HOWEVER, i have one small suggestion. Just as there are sheep roaming about and butterflies fluttering around the creations, or birds visiting . . . it would be super awesome if little NPC characters moved in to enjoy the tiny glade in which I have built. I think it would encourage more to be added to the buildings and keep players working on their builds for longer!
4/5 beautiful and relaxing, I only wish there was ten times as much to do and five times as much space to do it in! I could build a whole city! Bridges! Moats! Would also love tiny people occupying the spaces, but that's so much to ask for. Overall really enjoying it and think its absolutely worth the money :-)
I absolutely recommend this game, the graphics are simply gorgeous and the sound effects are super satisfying. It's great for relaxation and creative freedom, something to help unwind but keep you entertained. The only thing I would say that could make this game better is more variety/options. Particularly in colouring, it would be great if there was a colour wheel or something of the sort, and potentially more textures too. Another great addition would be some more intricate decor options (maybe different types of lanterns/string lights??) or even just making basic shapes more manipulatable so that players can take creativity to the next level. Otherwise, this game is excellent and my favourite so far, and I'm aware that it is also somewhat new so I'm sure this is only the beginning.
This game is really beautiful and charming, however if you're not a genius youtuber, it can be frustrating T-T If you're the type of person where you lose all inspiration as soon as the game is in front of you, maybe this is not the game for you. However, there is a daily prompt to help you come up wth something, and you can always try to recreate reference images! Plus, it's always nice to hop in, make a tiny little cottage, and get lost in the little details ... You might not make something grandiose, but it will always look cute in the end ^^ It's also very nice if you want to give life to the places you imagined, wether for a book or a dnd campaign. I find the idea of showing your group a picture of the place they are arriving at, that you made with this game, very enticing However I do recommend a good computer, as that game will make it very very hot
its a fun game. but very short and it's only exterior things. so, if you love INTERIOR design, this isn't for you.
Cute but not enough aesthetic variety. For example, there's only one type of flower. Really limits the kinds of dioramas that you can create. As much as I love the art style I got bored after 30 minutes because there just wasn't enough variety for me to really get creative with.
I want to like this game. However, the game controls feel wrong. The question I have is how are your suppose to play this game? Steam Controller? Keyboard and Trackball? Keyboard and trackball? I think games need to reviewed based on how the input controls work. Fighting a games control inputs is not fun.
fun, not a lot of options, but fun
Very visually beautiful but gets boring EXTREMELY fast due to how little there is to actually do/play with, I do not think this game is worth the price for the actual content of it
I enjoyed it at first, seeing the videos of this game feature on my social media feed maybe 2 years ago. It was nice, but considering I hadn't updated myself on it since then I'm very disappointed there is not more to it (customization wise), considering what they advertised about the game when the release date wasn't even finalized yet... I mean its a relatively simple game, I wouldn't say its bad if you like very simplistic things. but other than that there isn't much to it. no npcs other than sheep, and no farming, no interior customization, no copy paste feature and limited amount of options with colors and designs, plants only have 1 option and you're pretty locked with how much you'd actually like to do. tldr: if you want a vast variety of customization that offers more, I recommend looking elsewhere. but if you like simplicity and don't mind, then I recommend this for you!
