The award-winning series returns as Karl Fairburne fights to uncover Project Kraken in 1944 France. The genre-defining authentic sniping, with enhanced kill cam, has never looked or felt better as you fight across immersive maps to stop the Nazi war machine in its tracks.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.14/day in the week to Sep 11 → 42.14/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

More Stealth Elite than Sniper Elite. Not bad but 4 is better.
pew
Bigger isn't always better. Sniper Elite 5 is just meh. At first, you'll be stunned by how much content there is in this game, only to realize it's completely hollow. In the 9 hours I played, sniping wasn't even the core focus. It feels like a worse version of Hitman, forcing you into stealth objectives or risking a swarm of 100+ enemies. Flawed Suppressors: Suppressors don't work effectively because there are always unseen enemies hidden around corners. Combined with the realistic design choice that suppressors still produce noise, there is no way to snipe silently. At this rate you might aswell add the ability to take uniforms and disguise yourself. since you are now penalised for Sniping. Flawed Hiding Mechanics: There aren't enough boxes to hide bodies, which constantly triggers Hunt Mode. If you shoot from an unreachable spot, Hunt Mode remains active indefinitely, making stealth an even bigger pain. Paywalled Content: The best weapons in the game are locked behind paid DLC. Buggy AI: Enemy AI frequently glitches out. Tedious Upgrades: Rather than keeping customization simple, guns now require you to waste time finding specific workbenches and annoying collectibles. Locked Cosmetics: Outfits are locked behind Axis Mode, a stressful feature I refuse to play. The mode is dead anyway, so good luck trying to 100% the game. Punitive Playstyles: While the game offers multiple playstyles, going loud is harshly punished. You earn far less XP for surviving an open gunfight, whereas non-lethal runs grant exponentially more. Overly Massive Missions: Missions are ridiculously large and can take nearly an hour to complete, making save scumming practically mandatory if you're short on time. The main reason I truly cannot recommend this game, however, comes down to the developers. Rather than expanding and fixing what they already have, they decided to release Sniper Elite: Resistance. It changes the protagonist and adds a few new features, but not enough to justify calling it a new game. Instead of releasing it as an expansion, they launched it at the exact same price as Sniper Elite 5, nearly £50. Sniper Elite 4 is still the best in the franchise.
