About
NEW OPERATIVE, NEW THREAT, NEW EPIC CAMPAIGN
Offering unparalleled sniping mechanics, stealth and tactical third-person combat, Sniper Elite: Resistance turns the attention of the award-winning series towards a hidden war, far from the front lines, deep within the heart of occupied France.
In a gripping new story that runs parallel with Sniper Elite 5, Harry Hawker, agent of the Special Operations Executive (SOE), takes the lead for the first time as he discovers an insidious new Wunderwaffe - something so powerful, it guarantees the Nazis will win the war.
Working with the French Resistance, this deadly addition to the Reich's arsenal must be eliminated.
Multiple Kill List targets, and different infiltration and extraction points give you an unequalled choice with how to accomplish objectives and create your own playstyle.
The full campaign can also be experienced in co-op. Fight against the Nazi war machine with an ally to share weapons, items and tactical know-how, as well as help each other get back in the fight when you go down during firefights.
VISCERAL X-RAY KILL CAM AND ADVANCED GUNPLAY PHYSICS
The trademark X-ray kill cam returns, showing the true destructive power of every one of your signature shots. Bones deflect bullets to unpredictably rip new paths through enemy bodies and SMGs and pistols also trigger kill cams, showing multiple bullet shots in dramatic slow motion.
To land that shot you will need to think like a true sniper. Factor in rifle stock and barrel options along with gravity, wind and heart rate while you zero your sights on the target.
AUTHENTIC WORLD WAR II WEAPONS AND CUSTOMISATION
The arsenal at your disposal will feature returning franchise favourites as well as a host of new authentic WWII weapons. Picking your loadout will be key to striking down the Reich’s nefarious plans!
Customise your weapon to suit your operating style. Find workbenches scattered around the campaign to customise and upgrade your rifles, secondaries and pistols with new scopes, stocks, barrels, magazines and more. Also remember to pick the right ammo for the right job, whether you need armour-piercing shells or a non-lethal takedown.
PROPAGANDA MISSIONS – BE THE RESISTANCE
Locate unique Propaganda posters across the main campaign and step into the shoes of a French Resistance fighter in all new Propaganda missions. During these scenarios, sneak, snipe and take down enemies to complete time-sensitive objectives and help end the Nazi occupation.
AXIS INVASION MODE
The fan-favourite Axis Invasion mode is back! invade another player’s Campaign as an Axis sniper and engage in a deadly game of cat and mouse. Whether you stalk your prey, lay an ambush, or run in guns blazing, the threat of invasion provides a new dimension to the campaign’s challenge.
TENSE ONLINE MULTIPLAYER
When you’ve mastered your rifle, customise your character and loadout as you take the fight online in competitive 16-player battles to earn XP, medals and ribbons.
If competition isn’t your style, you can also team up with up to 3 other players against waves of enemies in Survival mode.

Don't buy it. It's just copy pasta from the last games. They don't try even more. I am mid game and two maps are almost the same.
This game is good, but not 50 dollars good. If you liked Sniper Elite 5, then you'll like this game too because it's literally the same game! Same music, same menus, same skill tree, it's quite apparent this was intended to be a DLC, and if you treat it as such, it's still very fun! Get it on sale only.
Asset Flip
Gameplay is literally same with the Sniper Elite 5. Yet quality of the story is the worse. Main character is really off-putting. Good thing you can customize and play with other characters. If you are like me who liked 5's gameplay, and don't care about the story then go ahead but wait for a big sale. This whole game could have been a DLC. Not recommended for the low effort cash grab.
It's fun but they locked a bunch of guns behind a paywall, a regular K98 was a preorder bonus that you now have the honor of owning for 4 dollars, which is a bit cringe. This is a many times sequel that somehow has less overall guns in it than any of the previous games, excluding the original from like 2004. Get it on sale I guess.
It is basically a large DLC for Sniper Elite 5. But that being said I still like the gameplay. No issues running the game.
Read a few mixed reviews before purchase and thought: “It’ll be fine.” No. Nononononono. This is nowhere near Rebellion’s level of refinement. These feel like mediocre generic FPS maps on which you’re allowed to play a Sniper Elite game. Some even feel like Deathmatch arenas. I just played a mission with over ten Panzerfausts lying around — and not a single tank anywhere — and entire sections of the map are completely empty, while other areas have enemies that aren’t relevant for progression at all. Most maps are also severely underpopulated. Roughly half the enemy density compared to the last Rebellion title. First map is also the 4th map. Most maps have corridor - arena - corridor. it really shows that Rebellions mechanics are not the mos important aspect of their games, it is their expert mapping skill. We also encountered bugs like enemies shooting through walls (Kees got shot through solid cover), enemy snipers who get killed in a kill cam and then STILL return fire, or completely passive enemies who only react if you run straight into their face. We’re having fun because we’re playing co‑op, but if I had bought this at full price for single‑player, I’d be very unhappy. PS: Why does this thing never go on a deep discount. PPS: I adore the other Sniper Elite games.
If you loved Sniper Elite 5 and just want another campaign with more of the same, then Sniper Elite: Resistance will scratch that itch. The problem is that it barely does anything beyond that. This is essentially Sniper Elite 5 again. The gameplay is identical, the mission structure is identical, and even the overall length feels exactly the same. That's not necessarily a bad thing because the core stealth sandbox is still enjoyable. Sneaking through large maps, setting traps, lining up long-distance shots, and watching the ridiculous X-ray kill cams never really gets old. But it also feels like a glorified expansion sold as a standalone game. There aren't any meaningful new mechanics or ideas to justify it existing beyond "here's more Sniper Elite." If you're burnt out on the series, this won't change your mind. I'd only recommend it on a deep sale, and only if you're specifically looking for more Sniper Elite 5. If that's all you want, you'll probably have a good time. Just don't expect anything new. 6/10 (Decent)
its more an additional story line to 5 than it is a new game the multiplayer maps suck they pandered to the cheesing meta of using Secondaries rather than snipers, by basically making short range CoD maps the standard maps at least in 5 you had actual sniper maps and in this game the sniper map you do get, is from 5 for multiplayer ive found, if you want to play Sniper Elite, play 4 if you want to play third person CoD, play this if you want a mix, play 5
* Slightly better that SE5 * Better graphics than SE5 * Just a fun game to play stealth or guns blazin * Few new additions/weapons * 85/100
Great game as previous to Sniper Elite 5. Some of the missions are done in reverse from sniper elite 5. Some players report of short story line with the missions and it does feel shorter. If you can purchase this game between £5-20 on sale then its worth it. 27/06/26 - Purchased the game couple days ago and almost to finish with last 3 chapters with 9 total. 03/07/36 - Completed game after week of purchase. Missions are not long enough.
