One of the best experiences I've had in VR! It is not a long game, it is an arcade but it has an incredible sense of art, do not be fooled by the lack of textures, this is one of the most beautiful games in VR and the sound part is also not behind, the whole game is charming ! The combat varies a lot for a rail shooter and the bosses are challenging. No doubt looking to play this game more and even hope for a more ambitious sequel! 10/10 ESSENTIAL GAME FOR VR!
Honestly, this game is worth it alone for the audiovisual experience. The art style and music are fantastic and suck you into a dystopian future where you fight giant, strange-looking robots and godlike AI figures. It looks and sounds fantastic. But there is also a solid lightgun shooter in here, that not only demands good aim but also some fitness for dodging incoming shots or deflecting them with your hands. It can get quite exhausting at times. And be sure to follow the hint at the beginning: The game is meant to be hard, so if you just want to go for the "experience" instead of being shot into oblivion chose "easy" mode. "Normal" gets kinda bullshitty at the end of the fourth level. I can't even imagine doing the final boss on normal or even hard. But if you are up for the challenge it might add some hours to the short playtime. This game only has five levels and they can be completed in a bit over one hour. Well, you can always hunt for new high scores if that's your thing.
Singularity 5 stands out from the crowd of wave shooters only with it's visuals. Gameplay is ok, but nothing ground breaking. Pros: + Very distinct and memorable design of environments, highly polished and optimized graphics + Frantic "Space Pirate Trainer"-like gameplay Cons: - For some reason, when you hit an enemy's weak spot, word 'FATAL' appears above it. It looks really weird, breaks the immersion and doesn't make much sense overall - It takes about an hour to beat the game on Normal difficulty
An alright wave shooter. Not as good as Serious Sam: The Last Hope, but still worthwhile for good original visuals and music.
Fun game to play and it looks nice as well. My mixed reality gameplay (you see me in the game) is here --> https://youtu.be/maR7h0-sK8k
This is amazing. My only complaint is that it's not long enough, but for the price it's still fair. I highly recommend it.
Early vr games are always going to be a let down. art is pretty cool, gameplay is a drag.
отличная игра
Quite good wave shotter, worth the time and money. There are also unique graphics that I like. Cons: -Screenshake can't be turned off even I turn it off in menu, but in game it is shaking again and when I go back to menu, it is turned ON again!!! Better is to close eyes when it happens, it is not that often. -In the end camera goes backwards, so immediate motion sickness, don't know why they did this bad move once.
