Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Of the 6 markets with a position on both sides, 4 climbed and 2 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

After a few playthroughs, this game just isn't grabbing me the way all other Civ games have, and I've been playing since Civ 2. I'm not a fan of the gameplay & progression, personally, although I understand why some might prefer the style. My biggest criticism of 7 is how busy the map gets. There's no room to breath, it just seems like the cities kind of run together, and there isn't any space between them. The maps just get.... busy. Nothing stands out, nothing seems epic. Civ 5 & 6 are my favorites, in that order. I'd recommend going back, if you still want to enjoy Civ.
I've always been a Civ fan, every game has been an upgrade of the game before with better experience. However i can't say the same for Civ VII. Yes it has beter graphics ad cosmetics, the Commander battle system and the vertical city build is great, but the overall gameplay is weak and repetitious. Building wonders gives no great benefits, leaders buffs are not great, tech tree is too short. Its just too fair when the world isn't. Diplomatic option on Civ VI is limited, here its worse. Everytime you build a wonder, the reward animation is weak, lazy, and Gwendoine Christie's voice over is used at its minimum effort.
This game is honestly unplayable due to poor programming. Units constantly just walk the completely opposite direction where you you tell them to go. Embarrassing that this game is a year old and still this bad. It is obvious no one in leadership at Take Two knows anything about video games, short the stock into oblivion.
I've been playing Civilization since 1991. This is the worst of them all.
Changing eras that wipe board state and progress just make it feel like you are playing multiple fragmented and shallow Civ games consecutively instead of one quality coherent one. Just play Civ VI because this ruined the entire draw of the franchise.
THe "security" features are unbelieveably annoying, and this is a half baked game at most
When the game came out in 2025 it initially hooked me pretty well for about 50 hours. Some of the CIV core is still there. However now after 1 and a half year later, I can't force myself to play it. In the past whenever a new Civilization was announced I got excited. My mind started to think about the strategies that I could try with that civ. Here? It doesn't matter. The feeling of starting a new game is totally gone. They got so focused on trying to "make people finish their games" that they killed the enjoyment of "starting a new game". UI choice is still so so. I think it's the font and the spacing between elements. 3D Characters are still so so. Graphics (map, etc) it's fantastic, so at least they landed the visuals. Yes. Every new CIV introduced a new change. Hexes, non-stacking armies, etc. But changing civs during the game makes no sense. It's completely disconnecting you from what you are trying to build. It might have worked if this was NOT Civ and it was some kind of "roguelite" game that gives you randomization, unlocks and progression, but not in CIV. SAD
Game randomly start panning to the right and wont stop. Try saving while this happens and says error while trying. Completely unplayable :(
Its so bad I don't know where to begin. Others have already mentioned most of the issues with this in their reviews. I've really tried to get into it.. I had a much better time with civ 6, which I own on multiple platforms.
