Shantae and the Pirate's Curse

8/10 Solid sidescroller with some fun mechanics. Fun story with some memorable characters. Short and sweet, what else could you ask for?

great metroidvania but uhh... NEVER GO FOR 100%

Very fun metroidvania platformer with a huge improvement over the last game, Risky's Revenge. I'm still going through the series as I am writing this but this has been the best one so far. Not a ton of backtracking, occasionally obtuse directions but not deal breaking. VERY good level design and boss design. The humor is silly and ridiculous, doesn't take itself seriously at all. Overall, a very memorable experience.

Amazing game, the pirate gear feel great too and more natural than the transformations in previous games, and it leads to some great level design too, and difficulty is pretty balanced, on the harder side somewhat. Spritework is like Risky's Revenge, amazing there and top-notch here and music, oh my GOD this is great. Story has a good mix of funny moments, tension and some lore too, even if short, but you can also skip cutscenes now which is a major plus compared to the previous games Great stuff, and is replayable too given how it's not a really long game especially with pirate mode.

Muy buen juego, jugabilidad fluida, humor absurdo y personajes divertidos y carismáticos. Recomiendo que si estas acostumbrado a juegos desafiantes no mejores la capacidad de corazones, es perfectamente jugable sin ellos y te fuerza a aprender patrones del juego, además jugándolo de esta manera puedes terminar el juego en menos de 10 horas.

JOGAÇO! muito divertido e tranquilo de passar, é fácil de um jeito muito agradável. Meu primeiro jogo da franquia e me fez ter interesse em conhecer os outros. O design das personagens é um show a parte também kkkkkkkk Meu único problema com o jogo foi alguns crashes que ele teve ao entrar na dungeon do mapa com zumbis e de gelo, felizmente o jogo não fica travado mesmo, só recomendo pra todo mundo garantir que salvou o jogo antes de entrar em qualquer dungeon, perdi uns minutinhos de jogo por causa disso
