This game is really fun, it plays a lot like hadies. currently has some pretty major frame drop issues. but its really fun when its working. I'll continue playing as its really fun.
Developed by MyACG Studio and published by MyACG Studio together with NPC Entertainment, Cinderia enters the action roguelite genre with a distinct identity rooted in dark fantasy and ruined fairy tale imagery. The game's premise revolves around a world consumed by ash after the rise of the Ash Witch, leaving civilizations in collapse and survivors struggling against an ever-growing darkness. From the moment players begin their journey, the game establishes a somber tone through its scorched environments and mystical themes, presenting a setting that feels both tragic and intriguing. Rather than relying solely on narrative exposition, Cinderia allows its atmosphere to tell much of the story, creating a world that invites exploration despite its desolation. Gameplay is built around fast, responsive combat that rewards experimentation. Every run offers opportunities to combine skills, equipment, embers, and passive upgrades into increasingly powerful builds. The title embraces the roguelite philosophy wholeheartedly, encouraging players to adapt to randomized rewards and discover unexpected synergies. The combat system feels fluid, with attacks chaining naturally into evasive maneuvers and special abilities, giving encounters a satisfying sense of rhythm. Multiple playable characters further enhance replayability, as each hero introduces unique mechanics and encourages different approaches to combat. This variety prevents the experience from becoming stale and provides a compelling reason to return after each failed attempt. One of Cinderia's greatest strengths lies in the sheer volume of customization available. The game's extensive collection of skills and equipment creates countless build possibilities, allowing players to focus on critical strikes, elemental effects, survivability, or devastating combinations that can overwhelm entire rooms of enemies. This emphasis on player creativity transforms progression into a rewarding process of discovery. Every successful run feels earned not only through skill but also through understanding how individual mechanics interact with one another. Fans of games that reward experimentation will find plenty to appreciate here, especially when particularly effective combinations turn seemingly impossible encounters into spectacular victories. The presentation complements the gameplay remarkably well. Cinderia's visual style blends gothic fantasy with vibrant magical effects, producing environments that are equal parts beautiful and haunting. Ash-covered ruins, corrupted landscapes, and imposing enemies help establish a memorable aesthetic that remains consistent throughout the experience. Character designs are detailed without sacrificing clarity during combat, ensuring that players can easily read enemy attacks amid the chaos. The audio design further reinforces the atmosphere, with music and sound effects adding tension during battles and melancholy during quieter moments. Together, these elements create an immersive experience that elevates the game's otherwise familiar roguelite framework. As promising as the game is, its Early Access status is evident in several areas. The overarching narrative currently feels incomplete, serving more as an introduction to a larger story that is still being developed. Some balancing issues can emerge depending on the combinations players discover, occasionally making certain runs feel significantly easier than intended. Extended play sessions may also reveal a degree of repetition, particularly for players expecting a fully realized endgame experience. Fortunately, the developers have been transparent about their plans to expand the roster of characters, improve the storyline, and add additional content over time, suggesting that the current version is only the foundation of a much larger project. Cinderia succeeds by delivering an enjoyable blend of stylish combat, meaningful progression, and atmospheric world-building. While it does not completely redefine the roguelite genre, it demonstrates a clear understanding of what makes these games engaging: replayability, experimentation, and a satisfying sense of growth. Its dark fantasy setting helps distinguish it from many of its contemporaries, and its commitment to ongoing development makes it a title worth watching as it evolves. Players who enjoy action-heavy roguelites and do not mind investing in an Early Access experience will likely find considerable value in what Cinderia currently offers. Rating: 8/10
This game reminds is amazing. Reminds me of Cult of the Lamb just mainly focusing on the rougelite and Combat though. The art is great and has a really neat style that sticks to you as the music is pretty great. The sound could use some help because it does bug out pretty often. Anyways Hella items and hella Hellflames to grab and just end up doing a million things at once lol. The characters all feel nice to play and have their own gimmicks and playstyle. Pretty fleshed out for EA and getting it on sale feels like I'm robbing them.
Beautiful artwork, fun minigames, great boss battles, well-paced progression.
This is just a fun game, played for hours without even knowing I been playing for hours.
game makes me incredibly happy
