TLDR: Just short of perfect, Resident Evil Village is a blast to play through; impactful combat, a compelling (yet zany) narrative, and gorgeous visuals create a stellar videogame. A must-play for the survival horror genre. Pros: - Took real feedback from Resident Evil 7 and made the formula better. - A game world that's intriguing and rewarding to explore. - Incredible presentation values; from the acting, to the visuals, to the sound design. - Improves upon the messy story of RE7 and brings some true creativity to the enemy designs and environments. - New Game+ is sincerely fun to play; unlike most other games. You'll want to unlock bonus content (which can be used to make seemingly impossible challenges possible!) Cons: - Some quests will hard-lock you if you progress too far (without warning). - The game hates HDR and refreshes resolutions on your monitor when exiting the options menu (????) - Some characters are killed off far too quickly... would have liked to have seen more of some of the minor antagonists. - The story flounders a bit...but eventually has a satisfactory conclusion. - Some of the 'weirdness' of the franchise is ramped up to 100 in this game. Flying dolls, Magneto-the-Cowboy, and giant-lady fetishes...to name a few instances. I wish RE would stay a little more grounded in reality. Overall: 9/10

SIMPLESMENTE PERFEITO! NAMORAL, PRA MIM É O MELHOR JOGO QUE JÁ JOGUEI NA MINHA VIDA! Não entendo o que esse pessoal tem contra o RE8, simplesmente devem ter visto um bando de youtuber falando mal e vai na onda. NÃO ACREDITEM! O jogo é simplesmente um experiencia que dificilmente vou ter em toda a minha vida, o desenvolvimento de personagens é perfeito, a historia é perfeita, personagens secundários tem um excelente desenvolvimento também, o peso emocional é absurdo, eu pagaria 10x o valor original pra jogar dnv, SIMPLESMENTE ABSURDO. Resumindo: JOGUE ESSE JOGO FANTASTICO!

Я поистине восхищен сюжетом этой игры. Она великолепна начиная от нагнетенной атмосферы, качеством проработки деталей, персонажей, заканчивая концовкой истории Итана. Это правда чудесно, как связана сюжетными линиями паутина всего резика. Мне очень очень понравилось. 100/10
