This game is a port of the Games for Windows - Live version that was released in 2009. If you buy the Untold Stories Bundle here on Steam, it will be the same as upgrading to Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.14/day in the week to Sep 8 → 33/day in the week after.

Worst re game would rather lobotomize myself then to play again
They gave my boy Chris a COD campaign what
This is going to be a controversial one but to be honest, I am really conflicted about this game. The game overall is a mixed bag. The multiplayer is great but the solo is not really that great. The characters are fun and intresting but they are so two dimentional as they get so little screentime that it is criminal. Wesker in particular is probably the best part of this game but he gets like a whole 20 minutes of screentime. The gameplay as well is also quite fun but the pacing of this game is so terrible that it is just non-stop shooting compaired to a game like Resident Evil 4 where it is regularly broken up with calmer more atmospheric segments to create a good pacing. The best game I could probably compair this game to is not even a Resident Evil game but more like Farcry 3 where the only reason why I kept playing it was for Vaas and here, for Wesker. Let me also get this one out of the way because I know that gamers defend this game constantly, this game IS RACIST. This game constantly stereotypes African cultures and gives them little to no context in their tradtions or practices. The game also turns the concept of Africa into a single unit instead of trying to highlight the various aspects of Africa and its over 50 countries and cultures that make it so interesting. The game also constantly portrays the local Africans the progagonists meet, as savage, hostile and violent; even before they are all infected and turn into Majini. Media is so important as it is a tool of expression which allows culture to be communicated between bounderies and if this game presented African countries, languages, regions and cultures as interesting and cool, instead of savage and violent, then it could have really impanted a possive view of Africa in the minds of its audience and encouraged them to dive deeper into its various aspects that make it up. This is also worsened by the fact that the Africa that Capcom made is based on no particular part of Africa but a bunch of different areas, regions and countries, and they even just made up a random "African language" for the game instead of using a real one which could have given the game more depth and value. This problem however, is really juxtaposed with much of the critiques that the characters of the game display. Chris and Sheva regularly display anti-capitalist sentements and the whole struture of the plot is centered around stopping neo-colonialism and much of the exploitation the locals are facing from massive pharmaceutical companies. This setup however, of a foreign white hero (I.E. Chris), coming into this foreign land to do this also makes the audience feel that the locals are weak and incapable of fighting against these threats without the support of a idealized white man which also reinforces this Racist notion even if the developers where trying to avoid it. I also do not even want to get into how Sheva is characterized as being this strong Black woman who, dispite this, still needs the guidance of a strong White man in order to succeed which also adds to this whole problem of Racist stareotypes of Black people - which is also added to by the overall design of her which appeals to an overly sexualized and Western view of Black women - but also to how this game characterizes women as being less than a man. Overall, I am conflicted about this game and it could have been so much more 6.5/10.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 33.63/day in the week to Jul 21 → 38.4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

No conozco mucho de la saga de RE y aunque bien tengo entendido que RE 5 es algo críticada por el público, es uno de mis favoritos. Es simplemente bueno.
