The voice acting and writing are so comically bad that the game is more funny than scary, which is to be expected from a 17 year old game. It 100% deserves a remake, as the setting and enemies have so much potential limited by 2009 development. That being said the game still is fun and worth the 5 dollar price tag.

Very fun co-op game, very satisfying to get all the crits I somehow managed to get, although it wasn't really scary (that may be due to the fact I was playing co-op.) Good story, good bosses, would recommend!

RE5 holds a special place in my heart. It was my first real online-multiplayer experience. The co-op features of this game are genuinely some of the best in the entire series. My only gripe is mid mission if someone wants to join, you have to restart from your last checkpoint. RE5 was the last arcade-horror shooter that capcom made. Newer RE games definitely hit you with the horror a lot harder. You're playing Chris Redfield in this one and he's very OP. In this game, if you crit and hit an enemy, you're blowing off their head, and upgrading your weapons for more 1-shot kills or headshots. Lots of ammo all around. RE4 remake and RE9 definitely try to get to this level of arcade-shooter feels, but they don't quite make it. I genuinely love this game and it has such a fond spot in my heart. This isn't a resident evil game you can beat in 2-3 hours even after subsequent playthroughs, but it has an amazing story, and the arcade-y combat feeling of the older games.

Aunque se aleja bastante del terror para centrarse más en la acción, me sigue pareciendo un juegazo y su historia me gustó mucho. (Eso sí, la IA de Sheva es malísima, así que se disfruta mil veces más si lo juegas con alguien).
