For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

For AI you have no management options for optimization such as priority resources production and transport. Hyperlenes too slow and no quantity change of rss possible, always 1 per worker no mater the tech. Road upgrades use same worker that do transport, so upgrading roads take forever and holds entire production. No option that a road will spawn or not, upgrading a road that splits and uses part of the other road that has been upgraded will downgrade to upgrade again, or the portion that this does not happen will 'upgrade' at same low pace. I was hoping to see the big upgrades in animation, like space mirrors in action, or aerobreaking a comet trough the atmosphere. Nothing. The only thing I see is a Rocket launch for advanced landing sites and Rocket landings from other places, and a colony space elevator arrival. Go play Terraforming Mars a strategic tabletop and you will have more fun then this so called simulator. Even the events that make you choose your AI views are made up to test if you are going to make your AI paranoid, rebel or something else. That's the only think this game makes right, to make a psychological profile of you.
This looks like it may be a phone game ported over to PC. I've seen worse, but it has a kind of shallow vibe to it that leads me to the aforesaid conclusion. Overall, kinda fun, but as you get more into it and have more and more components arriving at their destinations, the constant chirping gets crazy annoying.
剧情立意不错,性能表现也还可以,但是作为模拟经营和基地建设、自动化的玩法性有待提高
while the gameloop is interesting, the china being the shadowy enemy in the first mission is so played out, just invent a country.
6/10 Mildly interesting and engaging, but comes with a lack of scope and significant nitpicks. The other reviews are right on the money. Story is enjoyable and has some fun mysteries and will keep you on the hook if the mechanics don't. Recommended only if you get it cheap and the premise sounds interesting to you. I did enjoy my time with it, but it's not a standout. I'd recommend the exceptional "Terraformers" and the alright "Farlanders" over this one in terms of mechanics and value, but the story here is more engaging. Full story playthrough took me 14 hours with 95% of the time spent at the highest speed (16x) and waiting for long stretches for things to happen, buildings to complete, and terraforming thresholds to be met. Probably about 10 hours was active play and the rest was just waiting. That said, after you hit a threshold the game will often bombard you with messages and things to do so it's often a real feast-or-famine situation and the pacing suffers because of it. There's a few goals after you complete the story, but they feel pretty tacked on and uninteresting unless you really love the game. The UI isn't great and the battle system is bland. Could've really used some quality of life improvements like auto-upgrading roads.
Game is alright, but it has some absurd memory usage issues. nearly 16GB of ram used during certain story related events. Major Story Spoiler:
So I chose to go down the route of becoming Carmine and after a bit my original base just up and deleted itself without me having to destroy it manually. All 1700 buildings instantly being deleted caused the game to freeze for over 30 minutes using ludicrous amounts of ram to compute what just happened.
That along with other similar events would cause the game to freeze for extended periods of time to compute all the things that happened simultaneously. I have a fairly beefy PC as I put it though all kinds of hell in other, much more recent, games and it handles it fine but for whatever reason, the logic and math used by this game skyrocket its RAM usage. Outside of spoilers, as my base grew in size the game started to struggle greatly with saving, freezing for upwards of 5 minutes each time the game saved. The game is funish. Painfully slow with some things, ridiculously fast with others. Resource balance is all over the place, the AI is horrendous at everything which amplifies the issues, and to top it off, barely anything is ever explained to you. I appreciate when a game doesn't hold my hand and treat me like an idiot, but I would at least like some indication of how things work. Oxygen levels and flammability is one such thing. There is a single off-handed comment made once during dialogue that mentions what % of the atmosphere should be oxygen and that going above that will cause things to catch fire. That number isn't anywhere within the games UI or menus forcing you to go to external wikis for the answer. All that said, the game is still at least enjoyable, and the story is phenomenal. I just can't, in good conscious, recommend a game that has such horrible optimization issues, especially given that the primary issue is memory usage which is something that will affect the majority of people who play this game. Overall, I'd rate Per Aspera a 7/10 with a -5 penalty for performance issues.
First off, the UI and sound design are impeccable. The vibes and music, the sounds and visual feedback given by the game are a reward for continued play. On multiple occasions I'd wind up not checking my phone or the clock for 3 hours and wind up playing into the wee hours. My main prior terraforming game experience was with Surviving Mars, which is a much simpler game that only later added via DLC several elements inherent to the base of Per Aspera. I got the main Per Aspera bundle so didn't have to deal with any glitches from the original DLC rollout. The rising seas and usage of them adds a fun challenge and opportunity to the late game. People who are finding it too simple or easy likely should max the difficulty so that logistics are more strained and require more focus. I've also completed each possible ending, enjoying the game so much that I went back-to-back in playthroughs immediately after buying to get it all done. I do wish we could do more micromanagement of things like emergent ecosystems and that there was additional CO2 balancing alongside oxygen in the later game stages, but those are niche complaints. The main thing I'd like to see is a way to continue to other planets that each present additional challenges, with the ability to use your chosen Martian path to influence your game settings/goals/abilities. That might be worth a large DLC or make more sense as a sequel. So overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase and think it worthwhile, especially if bought on sale.
This game is really unique and early game is pretty good...but man, does it have some GLARING issues. at $30? ehhh probably not, but when on sale? absolutely. I'll keep it short, the game suffers from a sub-par UI. in late game you're really going to struggle to find specific builds among your web of cities. and god forbid if you use the "Landers" function it introduces you to in the start of the game, You'll think your resources are just fine and find out your main base is starving because it lumps ALL resources together with no way to permanently break them out by "city". secondly, the game fails to provide you with information early enough to save yourself an hour or more of gameplay. Example: you focus on science early instead of rushing the terraforming, this allows you to unlock the "Ice meteor" project. you complete it before you have fully raised the temperature of the planet. Once you have raised the temperature, the water now rises far above where it would have previously, potentially flooding a portion of your base depending on how you expanded. Last but not least, the AI, oh god the AI. having your builders double as the transporters was a choice. I would highly recommend you have your worker hubs on a 1:3, or at least a 1:4 ratio of hubs to buildings, otherwise in late game moving resources around will be a pain. Late game tip: Hyperlanes can be saturated like a road, don't hesitate to create hyperlane "highways" of multiple hyperlanes running in tandem to locations. Don't rely on just 1 connection from place to place.
