for the first time in [i]creeper world[/i] history we get proper 3D graphics to add some bling to the game. ... however in practice that doesn't really work out all that well. the perspective often gets in the way of quick and efficient clicking on stuff when sh!t hits the fan, the camera controls are not great and after all that the game doesn't even look all that good! what's the point?! like the last [i]creeper world[/i] game this one isn't as casual as it looks. playing tired and half-drunk in the middle of the night gets you nowhere quick. again ask me how i know! even more new enemy units and new towers to counter them as well as new types of resources and the buildings required to process them add a lot of clutter and move away from the simplistic approach of the previous [i]creeper world[/i] games. at the same time the previously comprehensive upgrade system got completely axed and all you get now is basically "upgrade? yes / no" just why? changing how stuff works doesn't automagically make it any better. surprisingly catchy music though! while old fans like myself will still get loads of fun and enjoyment out of this one i think new players should either start with the very first [i]creeper world[/i] game (because it's the first) or with [i]creeper world 3[/i] (imho the best game of the series!). you do you but before buying keep in mind there's a [i]creeper world 4[/i] demo to check things out first. [b]however[/b] don't call me negative nancy just yet. there's a ton of maps and mods created by the community including puzzle maps, first person shooter (seriously!) and even playing levels as the creeper itself! for some players that may very well be even more appealing than the actual main game! finishing all main missions took 16 hours and a total of 18 hours to get 100% achievements unlocked. another 24 hours for various bonus missions added later to the game. back to my review of [i]Creeper World 3: Arc Eternal[/i]: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Meister_Leuchte/recommended/280220

Have played since the original Creeper World. Only game I play on a daily basis. Love the daily maps and the map generator.

Camera is a bit jank sometimes but in general a good game where you fight the ocean

Brings back memories of sitting at my PC, 12 years old, launching Creeper World 3 for the 27th time just to fail the 6th level again. Remember it like it was yesterday

Quite possibly my all time favorite game. I love the main campaign but the online community that brought a variety of maps and mods just elevated the entire experience. I played through the other Creeper World games and even experienced it way back on ArmorGames.com many years ago. Creeper World 4 brings years of experience to the platform into a master piece. Well done!

My #1 favorite, to my very own unexpected astonishment.

Been a while since I strted it. This game is a star at replayability(daily new maps) and no stress.

I want to say that I love this game, yet I can't. I love tower defense, and Creeper World is probably my favorite of the genre. However, some stages simply feel too frustrating to be worth playing - and usually they're required to progress if I'm not mistaken. Frankly the best gamemode is the player-made mode where you play as the Creep instead - There's something so fun about how they execute it in comparison to how the rest of the game is executed.
