Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 8 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's a good game but a bit dated and some things (like collecting eggs) are really time-consuming. Not a fan of the end game being multiplayer only (or with a bot) but overall I enjoyed my experience.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 24: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

ラグ上に三歳児が書いたような不合理なストーリー 知能が低いキャラクター 空っぽのマップ ゲーム性自体は良いが ストーリーがアウトじゃ意味がない
I enjoyed Monster Hunter Stories 3 so much that I decided to give MH Stories 2 a go after hearing good things about the game. As this is the predecessor, I expected there will be less QoL features than MH Stories 3 which is fine. However, the combat feels much more simplistic and became repetitive very quickly. I also disliked that there are more monstie riding actions which makes exploration more tedious - we only have 6 monstie slots (and Ratha takes 1 slot permanently until the post story end, so realistically only 5 slots), so there were areas I couldn't reach during the story missions and I honestly don't feel compelled to come back and fight my way through hordes of monsters to explore few nooks and crannies I've missed out earlier. In addition, the game runs very poorly. I have powerful PC that I can run games like MH: Wilds and Dragon's Dogma 2 in highest graphical settings at around CPU temperature of 50C, and this game makes my CPU temperature spike up to 70-80C. I will probably continue playing but can't say I am happy with the game.
Why did they make Tsukino so smashable 😭😭😭
Muito melhor que Pokémon!
This is what creature collector games should be. Already owned and beat it on the vastly superior ps5 but bought it again so I could do co-op on pc with my husband. Great game though I reccomend buying it on sale because capcom wants to milk them titties as much as possible and they feel the need to charge the maximum new game price for all of their games regardless of how old they are.
I like a little bit of everything. Some games you have to choose a set path for your character (which is fine but kind of defines their roles). This game has more flexibility because you have a team/party. I like that it requires some thought and strategy as you move to a new area and learn how the new enemies fight, depending on the situation, or its weaknesses. Playing Monster Hunter Stories 2 (as I need wait for a discount to get 3 😿) But I am enjoying the flexibility of this game, because I can play for a bit with quite a few options, depending what I fancy doing at the time. I can battle and level up + get kills for my equipment upgrades. I can hunt monster eggs in dens or rare dens. I can do quests for money. I can try my luck against the Royal Monsters in the area. I can just explore the new area I am in. I can collect all the area chests, and search all the Everdens in the area for bottle caps (different currency type). I can follow and progress the main story for a bit too, with no pressure or real urgency. Depending on how long I get the chance to play, it is nice to be able choose what I can do, depending on my time or mood.
Despite the return of Naviru, this story seems better written and mechanically the battle system seems much better than the original. My only complaint (besides Naviru) are that it's performance is trash if you aren't in full screen, so if you like to listen to podcasts or videos while you grind, you'll want a separate system to manage it.
