Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

What an absolute shame. What a great team you have to create a game like this, something that had the potential to at least be another option to Pokemon, but I have never seen direction as poor as I have in this game. Everything has a cost, a high cost, and the worst part is, everything in this game just wastes your time. By the time you unlock anything like fly (which you have to pay to use, for the most part) you have to manually go back to every spot to unlock the ability to transfer it. The story is so plain anyone could have written it, and it takes an eternity. The final boss isn't anywhere close to fun, just obnoxious. He has a team of almost fully capped Temtem (which you do not at this point), swaps mindlessly and the best part, they added a 15 turn timer to the fight for some unknown reason. If anyone at Crema is reading this, get your bag, but please leave to find a better director/manager/producer/whatever. Honestly, how could you guys mess this up? Do you sit down and come up with cool things, then you've got someone who's only job is to make it as inconvenient as possible and tedious for the player? After 75 hours on PC and 10 on PS5 I've finally beat the game. I was so excited to start post game, but realized I still needed to do the quest for fast travel so I had to manually run across the entire starting island (which your party isn't even healed after the final fight??) just to fly to another island, to run to another building, to answer (and I kid you not) an 8 part quiz of weird, in-depth Temtem knowledge that nobody but the devs would care to remember and if you miss one you have to do it all again without knowing what you got wrong. Thank God for Tempedia, after the swarm of ads that clog every page that is. And, make no mistake, you'll need the wiki up 24/7 to remember their oddly balanced types, of which there are like 16 or some ♥♥♥♥, most with no reason why it's strong or weak against something. Damn, yo I tried to delude myself into thinking this was good, and it was just a complete waste of time. Save yourself. Seriously.

Do not purchase this game, or any game from this developer. They are bad and unreliable. The lead developer spent more time trolling reddit and telling people they were stupid for not liking their game than actually working on it. There are plenty of creature collectors on the market that are better. DO NOT buy this game.
Loved this game during early access. Devs completely ignored all community feedback and killed the game. They finally fixed most the issues the playerbase had, but they did it reluctantly after they had already pushed all the players away. This was set to be an amazing multiplayer experience that was ruined by the lead developer Yaw's arrogance and inability to accept feedback or understand how to balance an MMO economy.
A good game kneecapped by the devs incompetence. They wanted to make an MMO "lite" but don't plan on adding future content. There are time gated and progression gating mechanics (Palpark and limited Temtem breeding with expensive items for example) that you wouldn't otherwise see in single player games. They also refuse to add an offline mode or multiple save slots. They expect you to use the speedrun mode if you want to play the game again. Cool, but what if I want to keep both progresses once I'm done with the speedrun? The real kicker to me is that there is no way to consistently farm currency in the game. Your options are to do limited daily / weekly tasks, or rely on other players buying your stuff from the in game market. These are all small thing, but collectively show that the devs are not keen on improving their game, considering it's been 3 years since launch (6 years since early access). I played through the game again recently, and felt no need or incentive to interact with other players, so why is it still being kneecapped by MMO mechanics. I hope their next game either focuses more on actually being an MMO, or just goes singleplayer, because this game's MMO features are half-asses and annoying.
As someone who loved this game for over half a decade, shiny hunted alot and even tried to replay through this game. This is an honest review on the current state of this game. TLDR: Go play other creature capturing games, like Coromon, Cassette beasts, Palworld ect... Temtem was released back in 2020, I recently got a pc and I wanted to play a good creature capturing game, sure this game has good graphics and the music quite neat; it has some major design flaws that will make you hate the game. Lets talk about the few good things: First off the multplayer isint so bad, when people chat with you and when you do raids/dungeons its actual quite fun and strategic, If you want a challenge then this game is also for you. Sound design and music wise the game is also quite good and the areas feel unique and fun to explore. There aint much else but if this games on sale and you like the things I mentioned then it doesnt hurt to try it. Now onto the negatives (I am going split this up as much as I can) First off, This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the difficutly is nothing more than a slobfest, and before you say I am bad at strategic based games, let me remind you that I have play games like persona 3 reload on max difficulty, Ive beat cassette beast multiple times and I even attempt nuzlockes here and there. The issue with the difficutly is that the AI always knows your next move and not to mention the fact that they have BDSP type of bullshittery, for the second area in the game my creatures were level 42. Also grinding for money is a slog I will get into later. If you like difficutly sure go ahead and defend it, but its not fun having to grind for HOURS just to still get slimed out because the AI knew what your next move was. Second, the grinding: ♥♥♥♥ off Crema, Pansuns are a stupid thing to obtain which is actually INSANE to think about. Sure you have DAILY and WEEKLY quests but its not fun one single bit, at the end of the game expect to be completely broke with no idea on how to earn more money fast, its an utter joke how much grinding it takes to even get anywhere. Then there is the EV training (I cba seeing what this game called it), pokemon has EV and IV's which are stats that make your creature stronger, this game made it quite easy to see which stat excels etc, except from the fact that you STILL have to grind pansuns and breeding which although is pretty cool it is actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ how little enjoyablity you get from playing this game, you dont play for fun, you play like its a full time job. Third, no modding, no saftey and is permantly online: If this game was to go offline with modding capabilites then yes this game is worth 40 bucks, but as of now there is no knowing if we could even play offline. Meaning you need to have wifi to even play the game. Now sure on steam its not much of an issue but what about traveling with the steam deck or the switch? goodluck playing. Yes I get its an MMO game but the MMO features are useless making the game feel empty, sure it was awesome when this game averaged 1k players but now its rare to see anyone and let alone interact with anyone. Lastly, Crema the Devs: Crema, if you are reading this I aint trying to hate on your projects, this reason I wrote this up is because I want to play temtem so badly, yet I lose motivation after I see how you view this game, the players and the overall experience. Temtem hasnt recieved any good content update for almost 3 years, no new islands, no new tems, no quality of life, nothing. Crema wants you to play this slog of a job based game the way THEY want to, yes I understand you are the devs and this is YOUR GAME not ours YOURS, but it gets to a point in which these devs get so blinded by the way they want you to play, to the point in which its just the same. 7 days to die devs did this and it made the game suffer badly, Niantic the devs of Pokemon Go done this and it made so many people hate the game. If you want the game to be fun, look at the critisim and see how you can align it with your vision. Temtem was an awesome game, but ever since it came out I cant bare to even look at it. Its a shame such an awesome project is nothing more that a 9 to 5, infact I would argue a 9 to 5 is better than playing temtem. So let me give you better games to play that is worth your money. Cassette beasts is an awesome game with the best soundtracks ive heard, its fun, its refreshing and the story is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing. Cassette beasts is only 20 Pounds, Has steam workshop intergration, can be played offline and is actually got some real good end game content. Palworld, you heard of it, it has mod support, it has an amazing open world, its got good humor, it can be a slog here and there but its better than 9 to 5 slop like temtem. Nexomon Extinction is a very simple yet awesome game with a great story, some good plot moments, an endgame that gives you a FREE DLC, enjoyable shiny hunting and get this, grinding isint a slog. Yes I am a petty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for listing better games, dont waste your money on Temtem when you can get most of these games for cheaper. They will give your moneys worth and its not going to a side project that is worse than Megabonk. Crema, listen to us and maybe just maybe; temtem can live another year. A few hours after I posted this review, temtem has announced a new project known as "Project Downbelow". I have faith that the devs could dish out a new game, I hope its something like the pokemon legends series.
I started playing again because "Oh! TEMTEM! I LOVED THIS GAME!" after like two years and then I remembered why I stopped. Late game, for me, is the most boring thing I've ever tried to do. I don't like PVP, and in PVE I can't hardly use my team. I got them to lvl 100, and maybe they're not the best tems out there, but let me USE THEM. I don't want a team I don't care about in lairs. My team is not disposable, thank you very much. I have hanged to my boring little starting Crystle like Rose hanged on to that door in Titanic. Late game is infinity grinding to make the perfect PVP team. Did I mentioned I don't like PVP? I reccomend the early game. The rest? Meh.
honestly: this really sucks. play coromon or anything else instead. game is dead and also just kinda bad
Banning players for listing bugs is insane and unacceptable. Deleting all the mentions of this on Reddit, Discord, and Steam is pathetic. Delete this.
This game is the perfect example of Ego killing Potential, and why it never works when devs ignore what players want and instead just tell them what they want.
It's pretty mid Good animation and Design tem tem are nice Gameplay is too slow. Everything is too tanky, you barely ever have enough stamina, tem tem barely have any type variety. You can be 30 level above a tem tem, hit it with a super effective move, have a item to boost damage and still barely do over 50% of the tem tem health Rival is annoying. NPC won't shut up. Breeding has a fertility system that somehow is even more grind than the game inspire by TOO MUCH GRIND
