Mindbogglingly unintuitive controls, incredibly boring gameplay, terribly blend theme with no charm to be found, and frustratingly minor bugs are the defining features of this game. I'm not sure if anyone in the development of this game has actually played this. It's simply not fun.

The slingshot feel of the first jump is pretty fun, but that's about it. The inability to look up reduces the whole game to just trying out paths and seeing which take you somewhere. If I could at least look up I could see that there are only three places to grab and I have no reason to try it... To decrease visibility even further there is fog up higher so I can't even look towards my next objective. SokPop's strength is usually exploration so I'm surprised to see these designs that fight against that. A little music would have been nice too.

Paid 3 dollars. Saw lots of orange. Tried using controller but there is no controller support. Tried using WASD and spacebar to jump but that doesn't work. Had no idea how to climb. Fell off a few buildings. Had to search itch . io forum for someone explaining how to play. (Hold LMB to jump??? Swivel the mouse around to aim the jump?) Figured out how to play. Jankily climbed up a tower to grab a duck. Tried jumping off toward the mother duck to give the baby duck back. Fell off. Climbed again. Fell again. Uninstall. This game has a clearly unique and cozy artstyle, which is why I found the game appealing in the first place. I figured it would be simplistic, minimalist gameplay, which is fine as well- but the controls and interface are pretty awful. Why in the world this doesn't have controller support is beyond me. Lack of much camera control makes it even less appealing. I generally don't grill indie games too much because I'm sure this was a passion project / small team that developed this but the controls are atrocious and make the experience not enjoyable. Gave it a go, not worth the cost of investment imo

You have to read the steam page to know the controls. WTF????
