Scrap Garden is a charming puzzle platformer about the adventures of Canny, a lonely robot, who awakens in a post-apocalyptic world to find all other robots shut down and seized up. What happened to the City? Why did all robots stop moving? Did anyone survive except him?

Rozgrywka łączy klasyczne elementy platformowe z prostymi zagadkami, minigrami, zbieraniem ukrytych przedmiotów i walkami z bossami.

Scrap Garden is an old horse that only knows easy and boring tricks. This Lithuanian indie game feels like a cheap student project, even after the developer Flazm joined them. Truly primitive work. I can't believe they looked at it and said: good enough, ship it.. This game may be charming but beside that it has nothing to offer. Scrap Garden is short and the maps are small. Even old Spyro on PS1 managed to deliver more. The combat is way too basic, you jump on monsters head like mario. Worst of all, the saves are too far apart and it is easy to instantly die in jumping platform segments, which resets the whole level and forces you to redo whole puzzle segments. It has far too many flaws, I can't believe I have it in my library. Then I remembered, that this game was given away for free for a limited time. Otherwise, I'd never get something of this quality. I saw Minecrafters create deeper worlds with far better redstone mechanics over a single weekend than this game. Can't recommend this childish game for 6 year olds to anyone. At this point just play Spyro or SpongeBob.
Nice game
If your idea of the perfect breakfast is toast, the perfect evening is a nap on the couch, and the perfect puzzle is the maze on the back of a cereal box, you might love this game. It's not without its charm, but there's not a lot going on here. Run around, collect gems, jump on enemies, solve a few very simple puzzles. I didn't hate it, but I'm not about to bring Scrap Garden up in conversation, and definitely not at full price. It's an easy, quiet, mostly relaxing platformer, and nothing else.
First playthrough review time. I got this game for free, and it followed its story quite well with simple controls and an easy level of difficulty, though the first boss was a bit hard to manage. The soundtrack was fine, and the narrator added a nice touch to the storytelling. The camera angles changed based on different moments, which made scenes more dynamic. The physics worked well, and the boss battles had good variety, with different types of creatures appearing across each region. Each area had its own setting and design, giving the game a clear sense of progress. There were also small puzzles that were simple but well-placed and helped balance the pace between battles. The game seems made for casual players, with a steady flow and clear structure. Some parts were slightly annoying, especially when all the gems were taken even though only part of them was needed, but it still managed to show the main character’s struggle to complete the given task. The overall journey stayed consistent from start to finish.
