A unique hybrid between turn-based tactical games and traditional, character-centric RPGs. Knight's Tale is a modern retelling of a classic Arthurian mythology story filtered through the dark fantasy tropes, a twist on the traditional tales of chivalry.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Sep 14 → 1.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Nota final: 6,5/10

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Play with a walkthrough or risk hitting a soft lock after twenty+ hours because you didn't skill your Knights exactly the way the game expects.
game is not bad but your people are in recovery too long, especially since there is no reentering an already completed area just for this reason.
It's an XCOM-like, seems to be Hard West style character progression (even though some characters have the same 'class,' they still each have their own unique skill tree), Darkest Dungeon style base, Divinity: Original Sin type action points. Combat is more interesting than Wartales, from what I've seen; encounters not quite as interesting as Divinity: OS 2. Character customizations feel meaningful. Characters have more personality than XCOM squads. Some replay value via alignment tree -- different characters and missions available depending on your religious and political axes (tyrant vs just and christian vs pagan religion). I like the atmosphere; the ethos kind of reminds me of Shadow of Mordor, alternative mythology featuring an antihero torn between revenge and redemption. So far so good, I'm not too far in but enjoying definitely. I will mention, this does share the two-dimensional combat map with Wartales so far, and I've seen other reviewers complain about repetitiveness. At the very least, this game at least has a wider variety of character skills that are relevant in combat (or perhaps you are able to play with said skills more quickly; in Wartales it seemed like I did a dozen combats that just boiled down to move and attack, move and attack).
I'd give this game a solid 6-7/10 This was actually the first game I ever refunded on Steam, back when it released in 2022. I bought it again now in 2026 while on sale for 75% and think it's worth the sale price. The game is alright, a decent Turn-based SRPG. I'm very early in but it's enjoyable. The dark atmosphere is what makes it stand out, however with one major downside. The voice acting and dialogue in general is just so out of place. Like, probably one of the worst I've ever come across in a game. Most of the game is voiced, which is great, except that the voices do not match the expected tone of the characters at all. The same is true for the dialogue as a whole. Mordred should be a gruff, constantly displeased tyrant who accomplishes his goals with violence and contempt. Instead, he talks like an anime highschooler. Whoever wrote this dialogue has seemingly never watched a fantasy movie in their life, or the studio's VA and story budget was $4. The VAs, alright, those cost money to find ones that perfectly match your setting. We could let that slide. But there's no excuse for the story. You could fix the entirety of Mordred's dialogue in a day or two of effort, and the fact it still exists in this state is just honestly pathetic. Instead of being intimidating, Mordred is basically given the tonal representation of a 14 year old squire who just wants to make his knight proud as he trips and drops his armor on the way to the joust. Imagine watching like Lord of the Rings, and Sauron has the voice of Steve from Blues Clues. That's pretty much on par with how the "brave knights" in this game talk. Unfathomable that this saw the light of day without somebody slowly raising their hand in a meeting and giving the hard truth that it's simply inadequate. It's legitimately blowing my mind how people/studios put stuff like this out there without an overwhelming sense of shame that prevents you from clocking in the next day. If I put out work like this I'd get fired from my job without even a chance to fix it because it'd be inexcusable that I even thought it was acceptable to move forward with. Other than that completely maddening issue that makes me want to skip all story and play on mute, game is pretty decent and worth the sale price.
Highly underrated gem with amazing sense of progression and great RPG & tactical mechanics. Combat is great fun with lots of amazing characters.
