Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 28 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

✅ Kentang 🔲 Rata-Rata 🔲 Kencang 🔲 Can it run Crysis (including Remastered)?

To be honest, I had to let this game breathe for a few weeks before I could put my thoughts into words. After finishing Kejora, I realized I had a lot to process. Not just about the story or mechanics, but the whole experience. But first of all, I’ll be honest with you: This is a recommended review, but it comes with a few very important asterisks attached. Because whether or not this game "clicks" for you depends entirely on what you’re actually looking for. If you are someone who pay close attention to story and emotional structure, I should mention that the narrative here might not hit as hard as you’d hope. It’s something to keep in mind if you’re a narrative-first kind of player. But if you’re looking to lose yourself for 2 to 4 hours in a beautiful, sometimes eerie, sometimes cozy experience soaking in the atmosphere of an Indonesian village, then this is exactly where you need to be. And no, please don’t look at my playtime. We are not going to talk about that. (Let’s just move on, shall we?)
🎨 The Visual Soul of Kejora
Let’s start with the one thing I’m certain we can all agree on: This game is breathtaking. While the art direction definitely gives off a heavy Ghibli-esque influence, it was the hand-drawn quality that genuinely stole my heart. Every time I stumbled into a new area, I found myself needing to just stop moving and stare for a moment because the background layers, the colors, and the composition all feel so intentional and alive. It isn’t just about the scenery, either. The animations and CGs feel remarkably polished, and it’s clear the developers wanted you to feel something specific while playing. If there’s one thing Kejora absolutely nails, it’s that visual soul.
🎮 More Than Just Kejora
What stood out to me about the gameplay is that it doesn’t just revolve around Kejora, as both Jaka and Guntur have their own specific roles and abilities that actually matter in how the journey plays out. By giving everyone a part to play, the game manages to build a sense of connection between them through the mechanics themselves. I found this approach particularly effective because the game doesn't use much dialogue to explain how they became close, so seeing them work together to solve problems actually helps bridge that gap and makes the group feel more involved. I also think the core idea behind the fight is quite clever because they don't force you into a completely different system. Instead, they try to stay true to the gameplay that has already been introduced and simply expand on it to add a bit more challenge. However, I have to be honest and say that the actual execution of this fight often feel very clunky. Even though the concept is solid, the mechanics don't always feel as responsive as they should, and there are several combat details that aren't explained at all. You're basically left to discover how things work on your own, which can lead to some frustrating trial and error. That clunkiness, combined with the fact that Kejora can only carry one item at a time, might be a sticking point for some. I can definitely see how that could feel restrictive depending on what you usually enjoy in a game, but for me personally, I managed to find a silver lining. I ended up using those moments as the perfect excuse to linger in an area just a little longer and appreciate the beautiful scenery.
🧠 A Strong Start, But…
Honestly, talking about the story in Kejora leaves me in a bit of a conundrum. On one hand, the opening is so strong and you can tell the foundation is there, like it has all the right pieces to be something special if it just had more room to grow. But somewhere along the way, specifically from the middle toward the end, things start to feel a bit rushed. It is a shame because the early parts do such a good job of building up your expectations, but the conclusion doesn't feel like it got enough time to ripen. If the story had stayed in the oven just a little longer, I think those emotional beats would have landed so much harder instead of just passing by. I also kept wondering who this story was actually meant for. Even after finishing it, I am still not quite sure where it wants to stand. If it is for a more mature audience, the ending feels a little too simple and leaves you wanting more, but if it is for younger players, there are parts that feel like they would need an explanation or some guidance to really make sense. It ends up sitting in this weird in-between space, and the identity of the story feels a bit blurry because of it. Additionally, as someone from Indonesia, there is a whole other layer to this that I kept thinking about. There are certain beliefs we have and ways of life that just make sense to us, and since the story is built on that logic, I understood exactly why things were happening. But I couldn't help but wonder how someone from outside Indonesia would see it. Things that feel like second nature to us might just feel confusing to a wider audience, especially when the plot relies on those cultural roots to move forward.
💌 A Love Letter to Indonesia
Building on that respect for the heart behind the game, I also really have to appreciate how Kejora weaves Indonesian elements into every corner of the experience. It isn't just about the setting, because you can find these cultural touches scattered everywhere, from the items you encounter to the small details in the background. For instance, seeing a map of Indonesia hanging in Kejora’s room or finding a photo of her with her friends participating in a sack race felt incredibly special. For those who might not know, this specific competition is a staple of our Independence Day celebrations, and seeing that local joy captured so naturally in a game is something that truly deserves to be appreciated. Even the achievement system is used as a way to invite you deeper into our culture. There are so many items related to Indonesian life that you can find and interact with, and doing so often triggers a conversation that explains the item and the stories around it. I really think this effort feels like a genuine invitation into our home, and seeing our daily life represented with this much sincerity is something I will always support. It transforms these small details into a fun, interactive way to introduce our world to the rest of the players.
☕ Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, Kejora is a game that I both appreciate and struggle with. There’s a lot of heart here. You can see it in the art, in the way Indonesian culture is woven into the world, and in all the small details that make the experience feel personal. It’s clear that this is a game made with care. But at the same time, there are parts that feel like they needed more time. The story doesn’t fully land the way it could have, the gameplay can feel a bit clunky in certain moments, and there are still a few bugs here and there. Even with the achievements, which are quite easy to obtain if you take the time to interact with everything and talk to your friends often, I hit a specific snag where an optional conversation would freeze during manual clicks. Switching to Auto Mode fixed it for me and let the achievement unlock, but that kind of disruption is definitely worth keeping in mind if you find yourself stuck in a loop like I did. But honestly… even with all its flaws, I’m still glad I played it.
This game is really short and sweet with some adorable characters. Personally couldn't connect that much with the limited time frame, but I certainly cared about them. I found the game through coincidence and can't say I regret it. Sadly especially in the final fight the game was a little buggy for me where I was reset even when I wasn't hit by any rocks yet, which stretched that final segment from only a few minutes to half an hour. It did sour my experience a little bit.
Kejora is a short puzzle game with really beautiful aesthetics and a story that feels a lot like an anime movie. It reminded me of Last Time I Saw You and A Space For The Unbound, though the gameplay and story here are much more simplistic. The way the story is told could have been stronger, but it still has its own charm. Overall, I really enjoyed my time with it. I played it on my Steam Deck and it ran perfectly right away without needing any setting changes. It did crash once near the end after a cutscene, but restarting the game fixed the issue. The music was fine, though it became a bit repetitive. I would recommend Kejora, especially if you can pick it up on sale.
An adorable game on grief and wanting to protect your people, but you're the one being griefed by the inventory slots. Beautiful art style nevertheless.
game has issues, but also charm. learn from your mistakes and make better game next time. good luck to you, Berangin Creative, waiting for your next piece of charming work
I like games where children are the main characters, and this one was similar to others. The puzzles weren't too difficult, which is better for me. I liked it.
