I would describe Ixion as a survival city builder. And it takes the survival part seriously. The game explains the basics and then throws you into the water. The game doesn't hold your hand and completely failing a playthrough is possible and will probably happen the first attemts. After about 20hrs, 2 failed attemts and only in journey mode, I finished the game and it was very rewarding. The story is nice and once you get the hang of it, the game is really fun. However, the pacing feels a bit off. The beginning is very challenging since you have to manage scarce ressources and the game tries to maneuver you into traps. And in the end the game feels somewhat too easy. I mean it is rewarding that the station is working out great but when I had the ressources to rebuild and optimize the sectors, the game ended. And that is probably my greatest critique. I'd really love if you had a choice in the end which would either finish the story the way it does or let you play endlessly for maybe another hard cost. So for whom is this game? I'd say people who like a challenge, want a nice sci-fi story and like city builders. But if you enjoy peaceful city builders you can play endlessly and optimize this game is probably not for you since it has a finite story which will end your playthrough if you finish. P.S. If you choose to play this game and get frustrated after failing. I'd recommend looking for a guide which will show you how to manage chapter 1 and maybe 2. The game really wants you to fail in the beginning and creates huge traps that could end the playthrough early.
sehr gutes spiel
Solid game that approach city building from a different angle - also more difficult/stressful than expected.
Залупа отборная, 90 % геймплея проходит за тем, что ты на максимальной скорости ждешь пока что-то построиться чтобы ПРОСТО ВЫЖИТЬ, задрочишься балансировать на выживании и прохождении по сюжету
It really Freaking Fun and Freaking Hard at the same time,i have to play multiple time to win,but man it so satisfy.
I enjoyed this game when I first started playing, but since resources are always found in the same places the replayability of the game is pretty limited, which is a real shame.
.
虽然优化不行,系统交互也烂,但能自定义难度,剧情中规中矩,给到8.5/10
If you like Frostpunk (the 1st one), you will like this. Changed the difficulty to easy, as a lot of people said it's hard. My first playthrough was about 22 hrs.
