About
The career mode is all about a simulation-style experience. Team performances evolve over time and even new teams enter the field replacing old ones. You start in a backmarker team trying to work your way up. Solid race performances will aid development and refined teamwork over the years improves car setups, but at some point it's often better to move on. Keep up with the active driver market and impress with your race performances to secure a seat in the best possible team for the following season. When you have the car for it, push hard for the championship!
Formula cars are the greatest racing cars in the world with amazing speed, downforce and grip. The game's driving model is built to emphasize this; hitting that apex just right really makes a difference. Slipstream overtakes and intense side-by-side battles create a great race experience. The AI drivers make mistakes, line up for overtakes and offer an engaging challenge for all skill levels.
Optimize risk in your tire strategy on different tracks and temperatures to maximize grip throughout the race. Push to gain positions with your fresh soft tires or try to hold your ground long enough with hard tires to take advantage of the extra durability.
Dynamic weather adds a whole other dimension to strategy. Do you start with wet tires on clear weather to get ready for the coming rain or leave those who do in the dust with soft tires? Or maybe you will do a longer stint with intermediate tires since the rain is light and won't last long. Whatever your plan, always be ready to adjust during the race. Reacting to the strategies of others and taking risks can make underdogs into winners.
Watch out for damage that will affect your car's speed and suspension, some can be fixed during a pit stop, but not all. Whenever you feel the race is slipping away from you and you need just a little extra power, you can push your luck with the high engine mode. If you end up with an engine failure or you just want to conserve your tires, you can use the low engine mode to control the situation.
Play with friends for fun or arrange races on the Discord server to test your skills against the best. Hit up time trials to chase the perfect lap and climb the leaderboards.
Tinker with the data to create your fantasy series; driver and team data and textures files are all moddable and can be shared in the Steam Workshop. Lay back and watch the AI drivers do their thing in spectator mode. Unlock tiny cars and do donuts. Enjoy!

Nice, simple racer. With all the available options, you should have no problem configuring a close, competitive race no matter your skill level.
Bro I really want to like this game but no one plays online and racing the AI wheel to wheel makes me want to unalive myself. They never leave you any space and when youre side by side they just squeeze you off like you arent there. Good luck going into a corner when youre on the outside, you will not exit on track. Even worse when they all squeeze eachother off track and starting bunching up with 5 or 6 cars in one pack.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, what a game. The depth to career mode is kinda nuts, and the overall mechanics with cornering, tyre life, pitstops, and weather are great. It rivals the official F1 games IMO, 10/10 If the camera puts you off, there is an unlockable chase camera
Fun game with driving that is surprisingly good. 1.0 Added a comprehensive career mode that is really fun and is at least as good as the official F1 games with some features that they lack (nemesis system). Game has a surprising amount of depth in both the handling model and strategy. The tires have a drop off point where the performance drops significantly (have tested this) and multiple strategies are viable. Game is very modable as well, including liveries, names, car stats and now even point systems. For those that do not like isometric view, chase camera is easily unlockable (It's what saved the game for me). I've spent a lot of time watching AI races to sim IRL seasons and make my own universe and the AI racing is quite fun to watch, and it's fun to make an alternate F1 universe of events. Overall recommend the game if you like F1 games and arcade-y racers, but with a surprising amount of depth.
Well I was shopping for something alike assetto corsa, but ended up with this. It feels good, it looks decent. Its stuttering like hell for me and the camera is less then helpful sometimes, but if you like Formula TOP you see on TV, you will enjoy this as well, 12EUR is too much though... buy in discount.
Everything was already said. Suprisingly well made and addictive game. Best topdown racer next to Art of Rally. I wish there would be future DLC with more tracks.... and even more series. Maybe F1 of diverse decades would be just awsome..... *just dreaming*
very good game. music option on races would be amazing, and car tuning system on the career mode would be perfect. I know the game is on early access, maybe the Developers already though about that. cant review until full release, but so far is a 7/10 in this state. continue doing a good job.
Juego altamente adictivo y divertido. 10/10
Review changed to positive because the Devs fixed the issue for which I am grateful. Original negative review left for historical context: [strike]Another racing game that won't allow you to use the right stick for accel and brake. Unfortunately this is all too common and for the most part I don't even bother looking at racing games anymore but I though I'd give this a shot on the sale and am left asking for a refund. Many racing games just won't allow you to reassign the right stick at all, but some of them do what this game does - allow you to assign it, but it doesn't distinguish between up and down on the stick. So whilst you can re-assign both brake and acceleration to the right stick, you are essentially pressing the brake and accel at the same time. Unfortunately this is common. So I took the brake off the stick and found out that the game treats the up and down extremities as maximum acceleration and the middle as no acceleration. Steam controller support does not allow you to assign stick axis to trigger inputs, never has and presumably never will. This would open up a world of games for me. I tried the game with the digital inputs but the game really does need analog controls all around. If this was an arcade style game I could do tappity tap with the button but that's not going to fly here. A pity, I had already planned in my head a mod pack. I was mostly interested because of the modability but if the base game isn't playable then that doesn't matter. In the past I have tended to not leave reviews on games I refund. I just figure it was like a demo and I can walk away. But this is a serious issue with the genre and we have lost a control scheme to time. Fortunately the Forza Horizon games and Automobilista games let me have my control scheme of choice. The vast majority of other games don't. Even Horizon Chase forgot about it between the first game and the second game. It would have been nice to add a top down racer to my list. I will also mention that I have, from time to time posted a question about this in the discussion group of many racing games and I never get any response at all, not from the devs, not from anybody else playing the game. I can't possibly be the only one who has been playing racing games since the PSX when you had to use the right stick if you wanted analog control over how fast you were going. That was standard and even arcady style games like most of the NFS games supported it. Well now I'm just an old man yelling at clouds I guess.[/strike]
this is a great f1 game, the handling is good and tracks are realistic. my only note is that my game crashes everytime i do a championship race or a career. i can only quick race for it to save.
