With its numerous gameplay features, fair challenge rating, rebalanced mechanics, and fun storyline, it towers above its predecessor and several of its peers. [h1]Long version:[/h1] Whereas the first Gardens Inc. game was difficult for partly the right and partly the wrong reasons, it was a good enough lesson for it sequel, The Road to Fame to rethink its mechanics to give a better challenge this time around. Of course, the standard time manager gameplay is still the same: we collect four resources (tools, seeds, wood, and stone) to spend on production booths, support buildings—which now serve a much larger role—, gardening, and even some beautification. Thanks to the large number of possible tasks, levels now have plenty of variety to require skill and speed from the players, instead of trial and error or relying on such weird mechanics as a slow wage income or using level time as a resource. The game even has a great story mode. The investigation and lightweight action barely fit the gardening theme itself, but the interesting characters and the funny dialogues make The Road to Fame all the more recommendable.

Good game. Good graphic and sound. Fun game. It says "Countless achievements" but there isn't.

Gardens Inc. 2: The Road to Fame is a fun time/resource management game. It's pretty similair to the first Gardens Inc. game, you collect various resources, remove obstacles, repair things, build buildings, plant and water flowers. It has nice graphics, okay music and it functions well. If you're a fan of the genre it's a definite must buy!

A decent clear the road type time management game where you clear some paths and plant some flowers. There is 50 levels in total which felt easier than the ones in the first game of the series.

Gardens Inc 2 is a Facebook style clicker where you routinely click on things on the screen to make things happen. In this game you click on things that resemble gardens and gardening implements. Fixed resolution, 4:3 aspect ratio, terribly limited Facebook style gameplay and some very nasty bugs with the desktop interaction (I had to restart a whole bunch of things after a few crashes from the game) render this impossible to recommend. $10 for a Facebook game is beyond a joke.

The first one was good. The second is even better. But the last levels are a bit boring...
