Midnight Driver

[h1] Bir ihtimal güzeldir diye aldığım yarış oyunu. [/h1] Oyunun indirime girdiğine dair mail geldikten sonra oyunu satın aldım. Hemen indirdim ve denemeye girdim. Unity motoru kullanılarak yapıldığı için çok da kaliteli bir şey beklemiyordum. Beklediğimden daha iyi çıktı yalan yok ama oyunun çok fazla eksiği var. Bana kalırsa bu oyun [b] Erken Erişim aşamasından [/b] çıkmamalıydı. - [h1]Oyun hakkında demek istediklerim. [/h1] 🍁Araba fizikleri ne çok kötü ne çok iyi. (Oynanabilir seviyede. ) 🍁Grafikleri unity motoru için yeterli/güzel. (Initial D sevenlerin hoşuna gidecek şekilde.) 🍁Harita tasarımları güzel. ( Initial D sevenlerin hoşuna gidecek şekilde. ) 🍁Son zamanlarda çok popülerleşen JDM araçlarından dolayı böyle bir olay yapılmak istenmiş olabilir. [spoiler] JDM = '' Japon Domestic Market'' demek biliyorum ama genel olarak insanlar JDM denilince japon arabalarını anladığı için o şekilde yazdım :) [/spoiler] 🍁Oyunda [b] GARAJ [/b] diye bir yer yok. Arabanızı haritaya giriş yapmadan önce seçtiriyor. Garajın olmaması çok büyük eksiklik. 🍁Olmazsa olmazımız [b] Modifiye [/b] kısmı yok :( (Araç boyama kısmı bile yok.) 🍁Araba çeşitliliği çok az. Toplamda 5-10 tane araba var. 🍁Multiplayer kısmı var ama bir tane bile oda yok. O yüzden çalışıp çalışmadığından emin değilim. - Oyuna en son güncelleme oyun çıktıktan 9 gün sonra 29 aralık 2021 yılında gelmiş. Böyle büyük bir potansiyelin harcanması çok yazık olmuş. Üzerine düşülüp daha iyi yerlere gelebilirdi. Güncelleme gelmeye devam etseydi ve hâla [b] Erken Erişim aşamasında [/b] olsaydı bu oyun patlardı. Arkadaşlarımızda japon arabalarıyla japon dağlarında yarışma düşüncesi bile kulağa çok hoş geliyorken yapması/oynaması ne kadar zevkli olurdu artık siz düşünün. [b] Oyunu 5 dakika oynamama [/b] rağmen bile gözüme bu kadar fazla eksik takıldı. Oyunu iade etmeyi düşünmüyorum sonuçta 7 TL hiç bir şey. - Araba oyunlarını seviyorsanız ve tanımak istiyorsanız alabilirsiniz. Araba oyunuyla alakası olmayan kişi 2 dakika bile dayanamaz... - Puanım 15/100

Was really excited when I picked this up. I love Initial D so the chance of replicating the races I got to watch in the anime was really appealing to me. So I bought this, retrieved my Initial D sountrack playlist and started playing. First race was against no one, with no requirements on what time I had to beat to win, nothing. I thought maybe it was against online leader boards but no leader board ever loaded except one showing only my account. Didn't think much of it and unlocked the second event named race expecting racing an AI driver. Nope, exactly the same, just drive around a track on your own, no goals, no time limits no nothing. OK, so maybe it's multiplayer focused? Well maybe that was the idea, only no one is playing this online. So at the end of the day you get what basically is a demo or a proof of concept. No AI, no different events, no actual competition, and you can unlock everything in probably less of an hour. And the maddening part is that it would be so easy to at least put a time limit you had to beat or keep track of the times other people around the world got and try to compete with them. Nope, nothing. So for the first time I asked for a refund. Even at a discount the game has too little to offer to actually recommend to anyone. Just find the Initial D games from the PS2 and PS3 and play those instead on an emulator.

Edit: Well, I really tried to like this game but I've refunded it. This game is obviously meant for Initial D fans, and it really does sell the joy of drifting down/up mountains... my only concern is that it feels unfinished. The UI could use a lot of polish, the car handling is fine but there's the occasional weird physics issue like when I glue to a hill off-road. This game could really benefit from a bunch of little tweaks and improvements, but it seems like the developer might've just moved on from this game since there's no sign of any issues being addressed anytime soon. I would love to revisit this game when it's in a more finished state, especially since I am a fan of the anime and this feels like a great start to an Initial D fangame, I just can't recommend it in the state it's in unless you're the type of player who loves to replay tracks to improve your time. As of now, that's all the replayability the game offers. If this game gets updated then I'll gladly revise my review to reflect the changes.

its a nice game with a lot of potential, its just sad that there hasn't been any updates in almost 3 years

Game Review: Midnight Driver Rating: 2/5 Genre: Driving / Simulation Developer: JG Studios Midnight Driver sets out to deliver a suspenseful nighttime driving experience, but unfortunately, it struggles with repetitive gameplay and lackluster execution. The core idea of navigating a dark city while completing driving tasks sounds promising, but the game quickly becomes monotonous due to minimal variety and limited objectives. Driving controls feel awkward and imprecise, which makes handling the vehicle frustrating rather than enjoyable. The city environment itself lacks detail and atmosphere, making it hard to feel immersed in the intended eerie setting. The sound design does little to enhance the tension, often feeling flat and uninspired. While the game tries to build a mood of suspense, it falls short of creating a compelling or engaging experience. The pacing drags, and without meaningful challenges or surprises, it becomes difficult to stay invested. Why I Don’t Recommend Midnight Driver If you’re after a thrilling or polished driving game, Midnight Driver isn’t likely to meet your expectations. Its repetitive tasks, clunky controls, and uninspired presentation make it hard to recommend over other driving or suspense titles. Unless you’re curious to try something experimental, there are better options out there for a satisfying driving experience.

Ótimo jogo para jogar sozinho ou com os amigos, mecanica interessante de mobilidade, carros ótimos mesmo com poucos créditos, e ótimo sistema de drift, recomendo muito

very fun, great quality of tracks. wish it had wheel support and the input sensitivity is a bit high but 10/10 would recommend
