断臂的维纳斯
I will recommend if this is on sale, I can see why this had poor reception at full price and having to wait and pay for the DLC. I highly recommend playing Episode Ardyn before playing. Screw what people say, only 5% of people complete it anyways, and you'll get a way better hook into the story, as its a prologue if anything. The main game story is so poorly told, sequenced in paced that I wish I started with it, the spoilers are things that do NOT impress in the main game, you arent ruining some grand revelation. It's sad that they tied in the other characters episodes into the late game story so much otherwise I'd say play those first too. Unless you spend your precious AP to unlock the ability to take over the characters, you never know what they are like to play until the very end of the game when you're forced to. So the Episodes shouldve been made to be played at the beginning. They did a horrible job with how it ties into the story and the overall structure. Its a mess. But outside of that there are some good things to take away. The combat is very much like Dragons Dogma, so if you like that you will find enjoyment here. But the combat is super easy, and ultimately too basic. This is exposed when you are forced to play solo for sections. It's just auto attack and auto dodge. Yes the game has auto dodge, you are invinsible to almost everything by holding a button. But when you have your party and you're fighting packs of enemies, its enjoyable. Just wished there were more techniques and could equip more than 3. After the first big zone it turns into a ghetto Uncharted, that ranges from mid to bad with some epic moments sprinkled in. But its a big let down. The open world, dungeons and dragon's dogma vibe is the best part of the game. But ya, start with Episode Ardyn, trust

Pretty boy road trip <3
Game wont even start on current version of win 11
Aside from the infamous Chapter 13, this is a highly enjoyable game. The combat is fun, the story is engaging, and the emotional payoff at the end is incredible. Definitely recommend it.
Arguably the best Final Fantasy game ever made.
